Works great
It’s a little bit of a pain to remove the battery cover to install this switch, but once you get past that, it’s easy to install on weapon and very easy to use.

This works like a dream.
I have been dealing with fire arms for at least 23 years now. Between the militray and my career in law enforcement. I have been a glock user for most of those years. My current post. I have been supplied with a S&W M&P .40 (not a big fan) I have put a tac light with a laser on it. This switch has made it using the light/laser very easy to use.

And excellent addition to any firearm (mine just happens to be an M&P. The only reason why it's not a Five Star is because it does not use the retaining pin that is standard for the factory (original) back plate for the TRL-1 (2). The button is very pronounced without being uncomfortable.

I'm running this with a TRL-2 and works perfectly. For those that carry an M&P for duty FYI this will fit the Safariland 6280 holster like a glove no need to modify the holster in anyway. It does take some time to get use to the grip but range sessions should remedy that.

Disappointed in the durability of this product
Bought 2 of these this year. Both broke. Disappointed in the durability of this product. 1st one cracked at the bend/curve above the pressure switch. So I ordered a 2nd one, in which the plastic piece that's over the battery compartment cover that the medal bracket clips onto broke off. I tried to return back with Amazon, but I was told the 30 day return limit was up and I couldn't return it. I might buy 2 more, so when the 3rd one breaks, I have the 4th one ready to go!!!
