Can you use this as a primer for acrylics also?

This is not a primer it’s a gloss black base for bare metal finishes. It goes over a primer then yu paint over the base. Yes it will work with acrylics just fine.

I am not an airbrusher. Can Alclad airbrush paints be used with a sable brush?

Not really. You may be able to touch up areas with it but not to paint a whole model.
