Good enough to write a long review for a mini amp
Mini amps are fun for practice, but they all have "character"; aka defects and flaws. Cracking, crackling, thin and toy-like tones, battery guzzling, flimsy build etc etc. Things you generally justify for their price and size. This one has no "character", it's no nonsense. This is probably the most capable mini amp out there. This 3W-er has amazing headroom (for a little amp), big enough a speaker to not crackle and break up (in a bad way) at high volume. You can actually crank this one up, clean or dirty, and not cringe. The delay is a decent addition which can get reverb-y at low levels, personally don't use it since I use a pedal. And yes, this handles pedals really well. The overdrive sounds surprisingly usable for a mini amp, sensitive to your guitar's volume and tone knobs. The EQ is just a tone contour, but gives you two classic tones on either side apparently ("Brit" and "American" types, in simpler terms, something like sparkly and fat). I personally stick mostly to the balanced flat EQ at 12 o' clock. Don't understand what the patented tech is but it's as effective (or not, depending on your personal opinion about EQ) as a tone contour can be. Can't expect crazy versatile 3-band EQ for this price. Although the bells and whistles (aux in, headphone out, additional 3w speaker) are worth the premium over the other minis out there. The additional speaker is seriously double the fun, it doubles up the wattage to a loud and full 6W, and makes the amp a stereo laptop speaker. Ultimately, what sets this apart from the other minis is also the build quality. Not even remotely flimsy or rough around the edges like other minis I've used. Don't think twice if you want something portable*, capable, well built and... Well.. fun.*You'll need 6 AA batteries for real portability but I haven't tried how long it lasts though.

A Fantastic Practice Amp!
I've had this for a few months now, and it has exceeded my expectations! The sound is quite neutral and loud enough for a little private jam session indoors. The various settings work just fine. I also connected it to a few pedals and it sounds good too. Plus, it's so light and portable! That's perhaps what I love most about it. And the battery also lasts. The vendor was nice enough to also include an adaptor with the amp for the price.I would definitely recommend this to anyone wondering whether it's slightly higher price is worth it. It totally is!

Can't go wrong with this little gem
Great little amp. Sound quality is great even at full volume. Ideal for smaller settings and for practice. It is powered by 6 AA batteries which last surprisingly long. Some sellers include an AC adaptor which is an added bonus.I am not a great fan of the finish on the plastic body but this is an unimportant detail. A matte finish would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely stunning
I bought this portable amp through the Amazon seller Allianze and I'm happy to say that I received the most pleasant surpeise from them in the form of the power supply unit worth Rs. 1300 completely free of cost.Coming to the amp itself, it nowhere feela like a tinny tiny portable amp. Blackstar fly 3 is the best practice amp ever made of this size and fuctionality. It delivers tack sharp crystal clear sound which fills a large enough room.Go for it without any second thoughts.

Its worth it
I own a Laney amp and it's loud. I wanted something that would allow me to practice in public. Unlike all other mini amps in this range, this has a delay knob. The sound quality is excellent. The rest I tried were alright but sounded tinny. This, on the other hand sounds immaculate. If you are looking for a mini amp, I would recommend this

Mini but packs a solid punch
My first mini amp. Perfect for playing at home. We can connect to headphones so won't disturb the neighbors. I thought batteries would not be included but to my surprise they were already preinstalled. As a bonus they included the adapter also

but has sound like big amplifier
This review is after 1 month use.The Blackstar FLY3 3W Battery Powered Guitar Amplifier is really very small and compact. It has a small weight, but has sound like big amplifier. It has 2 channel - clean and distortion. Both channels have flexible adjustment of sound (gain, volume, eq). Also, both channels are clearly convey the sound of the guitar. The diminutive amplifier has character adult amp and a loud sound. I am very satisfied my purchase.
