Yes, you can order them on Amazon. Search for "small rubber O rings".... in fact, you can even replace them with small rubber bands. Search Amazon for "small rubber bands". The size of rubber band you would want is 1/8" and if you go with an O ring, which is sturdier, you'd probably want thin 1/2".

Will this product protect hinges from breaking?

Probably not. It is meant to keep flying debris from hitting your eyeball.

Is this rigid or flexible? Will it fit a rectangle glasses that is 1" high?

These are rigid side shields. As far as fitting a rectangle frame that is 1" high I could not say yes and be sure.
