MolluDab 5% Hydroxide Topical Applicator Treatment 2ml Molluscum Contagiosum

I wanted to write this review because, when I was deciding whether to buy this product for my 4-year-old daughter, other reviews really helped me. My daughter had several spots on her chin and neck for over a year. We kept hoping they would clear on their own, but they didn’t. Eventually, they began to bother her so much that she scratched them until they bled, which was upsetting for her and distressing for us. That’s when we decided to try this product. The treatment process is tough. Application stings, and applying it twice a day for two weeks feels like it drags on forever. It’s not easy for a child—or a parent—to go through. But at the end of the cycle, the spots ruptured just as expected, and healing finally began. In our case, it took about another 4 weeks for her skin to fully repair. After this is was clear the process had worked and removed the majority of the spots. We’ve since done a second round because a few small spots remained or new ones appeared, but compared to the 20 or so she had before, the improvement is huge. One note: I found the dispensing dropper unhelpful, so I removed it and used a clean cotton bud to apply the liquid directly to the affected areas instead. This process isn’t for the faint-hearted—it can be difficult and emotional—but it does work. If you can stick with it, the results are worth it. I would thoroughly recommend this product.

Does what it says but does work as fast as it suggests.

Thank you for this product. It helped my daughter. I dont understand why people complain about the bottle not being full. This is strong treatment and only tiny amount is needed everyday. The applicator is rather unusual but it wors. So happy we got rid of the spots just in 2 weeks.

This has worked on some of the spots but not all... the bigger ones are still there unfortunately.

The plastic wand isn't any good. Don't get any liquid out. Expensive and doesn't work

Bought this for my daughter that was suffering with this bacterial infection on her skin. I think we put it majority of the spots we could and after about 4 applications the warts started to die and disappeared. It worked for my daughter so hopefully it is the same for everyone.

This is honestly one of the best products I've ever bought. My daughter picked up molluscum from somewhere. They were everywhere on her body and seemed to be spreading. It was just hideous. I took her to the doctors who confirmed it was molluscum (after we first thought it was warts and treated her unsuccessfully for them) but the doctor said they don't prescribe for molluscum and said it would go on its own. I was at my wits end. I came onto Amazon and spotted this treatment. I had zero hope that it would work. I dabbed a little bit on each spot, each night. Within 2 weeks they had dried up and would fall off, never to be seen again. After 3 to 4 weeks she was entirely free of the awful molluscum spots. This product is simply AMAZING! I would recommend to anyone. It is expensive but is honestly worth every penny to see a smile back on my daughter's face.

My daughter started with Molluscum on her tummy and thigh around a month ago and it felt like the spots were spreading fast. I had spoken to friends whose children had the spots in the past and waited for them to heal up and go naturally which took 2 years in some cases. I was not willing to wait them out as my daughter was very self conscious about them. I did lots of research on different products and this was the one which kept coming up so I thought it was worth a try despite the price tag. We are now two weeks into using the Molludab and most of the spots have scabbed over and are disappearing, hooray! There are a few tiny new ones which I will keep treating until I cant see them anymore. It does sting a little (my daughter is 6) and tells me some of them sting which I blow on to help, but this passes quickly. Fingers crossed we should see the back of all the spots soon.
