If you get confused, you can go to the manufactures website and there is videos that you could easily follow along. I put this together by myself. It took much longer than I need it to cuz I did it on my own but you can do it on your own if you have no choice (recommend a building partner for faster results.) once I figured out how to fold and unfold, it wasn’t too bad. The futon does slip but also I have a really huge 12 inch thick futon. You have to put muscle in my futon to fold it LOL but despite that, it will stay on. I think this would work best if I had a fold futon. I already have been napping, sitting, and unfolding for guest. So far so good. No complaints about it.
