What a beautiful comforter and looks nice on my bed once I got the right size.

First off….these is NOT a comforter. It’s a duvet cover. There’s too much gold in it for me so I decided to just layer it on top of my existing comforter. I did not like the accent pillows that came with it so I used my own.It wrinkles easy. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t comment on how it holds up…that’s a later review. It serves my purpose well.

This bedding was beautiful when opened. Highly disappointed to see the gold coloring was off of blanket and shams upon first wash. Quite irritating also that my shams with this set were made from two different types of fabric, one a cotton like fabric while the other matched the duvet cover with an almost shiney satin like material. Both materials were soft but were not the same and it is extremely noticable as I am partially sighted and could still see and noticed the difference. The amount of gold color that washed away upon first wash was also unacceptable in my opion. I cant even use them again as far as design goes, now they are just extra material in my closet as also iys not a beeding set its a duvet cover set which meant I also had to spend money separate on a duvet.

This is a beautiful bed set, however it did not come with an actual blanket, so I don’t think that it should’ve been as pricey as it was. You have to put a blanket inside the cover, which can be a pain when it comes to making up your bed; I don’t know how to explain how, but if you decide to purchase this bed set, then you’ll see what I mean. Tip: When you wash the bed set make sure you remove the blanket from inside the cover because when I first washed my cover I left the blanket inside of it, BIG MISTAKE! It ended up getting tangled to the point where I couldn’t undo it, and I had to order a whole other bed set.

I Loved the color & design pattern. It complimented my bedroom decor perfectly. Unfortunately it came with a few large stains that I didn't notice right away due to me having Eye Surgery the day it arrived. My daughter visited me the next day & washed it for me using warm water & gentle cycle. After washing & drying (in the clothes dryer) the stains appeared to be lighter but larger & the gold faded, turning the duvet's design silver. I am disappointed because I brought this duvet set specifically for the holidays. (An Early Christmas Present to Myself). I was pleased with the way it looked and felt. Would I buy it again? I'm not sure. Maybe, If someone else washed it using "Cold Water, Gentle Cycle & Air drying "Successfully". King size is way too large to try to hand wash. The pillows & pillow shams didn't get washed so they're still gold. I'll Share an Update after I absolutely have to wash the Shams. Guess I'll be using My Old Comforter Again 😭 HAPPY HOLIDAYS ALL 🎄☃️❄📝 UPDATE; (1 1/2 YEARS LATER) I'VE WASHED THE PILLOW SHAMS A FEW TIMES SINCE PURCHASED & THEY'VE TURNED OUT GREAT. COLOR WAS STILL INTACT. I TURNED THEM INSIDE OUT, WASHED IN COLD WATER, GENTLE CYCLE, THEN DRIED THEM ON COOL/AIR DRY CYCLE & THEY TURNED OUT PERFECTLY. UNFORTUNATELY THE DUVET COVER FADED EVEN MORE BUT THE STAINS BECAME LESS NOTICEABLE.

This is a beautiful set. I love it. Love the pillows that compliment it.

Update: The metallic doesn’t wash off but gets on my skin if I am laying directly on it. The shams also. Check out the pic of the customer who posted is hands. Took one star away...I love this cover! Most comforters are too hot for me. I have a blanket that is perfect but needed a cover. It’s smooth, soft and has a button closure instead of a zipper, but so far it’s not a problem. The ties on each corner is great so my blanket doesn’t slide down out of place. I haven’t washed it yet so I can’t speak on it. A bit expensive, but worth the money. Also, the two decorative pillows are the cutest. I didn’t read that it came with the set so it was a nice surprise. I would recommend.P.S. In the pictures my blanket is not in the duvet yet. I fixed my bed to see what it looked like before I went through the trouble of adding it in.

It's very pretty but I clearly didn't read everything. I see that the comforter is sold separately. I feel silly lol. But I'm reading the reviews and see the gold will eventually come off and that makes me sad since I really like this design. I better enjoy it while I can.

I loved the duvet cover. Great color and design.

Looks great but be aware that the gold design wears off as used (by arms and head). Looking good didn’t last long.

UPDATE: I have now washed, and slept in these sheets, and the fabric IS fairly thin, but it is also very soft. As long as you take care of them I think they should last a while. The only complaint I have as of now is how big the duvet cover is. I have a queen bed and a queen duvet, and there's like a foot of extra space at the end of the cover. I was thinking of getting a king sized duvet anyway, so that should fill it nicely and it will actually be the size I like, but for now it just looks kinda weird. Otherwise, a really cute set!I see a lot of 1 stars based off the sheet not being a comforter, it's just a super thin sheet, false advertising, not worth it, etc. And it irks me when I see products get false reviews because people are not using them properly, as they don't seem to actually realize what they are purchasing.There is another product just like this with a comforter instead of a duvet cover if that is what you want, but you WILL NEED A DUVET FOR THIS SET.I have not used this yet as I just turned my bed over with fresh sheets right before receiving this, so I will update with pictures when I change them.This is a cute product! I had a fit of pink shopping for my dark blue painted bedroom, and this seems like a fun change for me! Upon opening it I was impressed with how soft the material it! They are thin, so may not last super long. The gold I don't expect to last forever either, but it looks and feels good at first touch and glance. As soon as I opened, I washed the set and put them away, and they came out just as soft, and does wrinkle a little bit, but much less than most of my other sheets.It is a bit expensive, but I was willing to pay it for something fun, comfy, and different. I won't find a decent duvet set for under $50, and this comes with 2 super cute throw pillows. So far, I don't regret this purchase. Stay tuned tho!
