This is what it is, a hot foot throttle for your boat. Very well made. Used mine for three years now and no issues. I will say this, if you are considering one you won't regret buying one. The safety factor alone should be enough to buy one. Your foot comes off the throttle, the boat glides to a quick stop. In rough water it is easier to feather through the waves on my bass boat.

Got this for my stepfather for Christmas for his boat and him and my husband installed it themselves. Didn't take them long and it works great! We ordered a long cable to go with it to attach it to the motor. Very happy with it!!
