Availability and Convenience
I needed to split a t-nut from it's shank that had a machine screw completely lodged in it's threads. While I didn't put as much thought into the extraction plan it as I could have, my options within a one day timeframe were either this inexpensive chisel, or spending a bunch on one of those oscillating multitools to saw through the bolt. Brick and mortar stores in my area didn't have single cold chisels for sale, and the sets they did have generally started at a 3/8" size, and were generally more expensive. So either way, I'd be buying the wrong tool for the job, and spending more than I would like. This single 1/4" chisel got here in under a day, and even with rush shipping still cost less than the improperly sized alternative that I could find at a store, it still may have been the wrong tool for the job, but at least it was inexpensive and available quickly. I hammered on this with a 4lb blacksmith's cross pein hammer, and while the striking end flattened out a bit, the cutting edge is still intact and quite sharp. For the money you pay this chisel will get you through at least the one job you need it to do in the moment. I can't speak to long term longevity, but honestly, for the price you get more than enough work out of it.

Great chisel without handle
Handle definitely helps safety

Useful tool.
This tool should be perfect for carving/cutting sheet aluminum for my decorative garden art projects. It was hard to find a chisel with a narrow head like this one for use on intricate projects where tin snips won't fit.

good quality metal and tough
Used to separate wheel hub. The chisel went through a lot and was unfazed. Did not rust like a cheaper chisel did over time.

Good chisel
I tried this on a stuck pinch bolt. While the bolt eventually had to be drilled out, the chisel did cut through the steel head without an issue (although I was trying to use it to create rotational force.) Not the chisels fault, it still had bite!

Good buy
I haven’t used it yet, but it arrived quickly, had a great price & was packaged well. It appears to be a high quality chisel & I’m confident that when I need it that it will get the job done

Soft shank.
Bent pretty quickly and easily with a 4lb hammer tapping. The tip held up so maybe operator error. Just be sure to strike true I guess.

Poor quality
Edge came dull, crooked and wasn’t flush. Extremely hard to work with- I regret waiting past the return window :(
