This smaller low profile wind-powered rotary roof ventilator for vans provides ventilation for vans, buses, ambulances, 4x4s, boats, dog vans and buildings. This van roof vent has been designed to protrude a maximum of 59.5mm above the vehicle's roof and low enough to fit under most roof mounted carrying racks, the 8 vaned air scoop rotates freely while the vehicle is in motion drawing out stale air. This rotary roof vent is the perfect solution for ventilating your van. This is the WHITE version but it is also available in black. PLEASE NOTE: This is a smaller size vent. Please check the dimensions before ordering, especially if your van roof is not flat. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this item  glue on or bolt on ?**
A: You cut a hole in the roof, seal the metal edge to stop it rusting, then run sealant around the top side of the hole. The vent has a bolt on the bottom which is unscrewed and you pul the top and bottom halves apart, insert the top half through the hole in the top of the roof, then screw the bottom half to back to the top from inside the vehicle... quite simple.

**Q: Does this have /  need a bug guard please?**
A: I haven’t had any issues with bugs so far, works well for my camper.

**Q: Says fits roofs thickness upto 17mm, can this be increased**
A: Yes this is possible if you find a longer bolt and ensure it is adequately packed between the roof and interior.

**Q: what is the width of the vent?**
A: It's 210mm. All of the dimensions are shown in one of the images.

Very quiet /silent even up to 120 km. Imported from the UK to Canada. $20 extra for shipping well spent. Great improvement with the condensation that used rain down. Much drier Sprinter Van now. Did allow 3-4 TBLSP of water in during a violent pounding storm -understandable..
