[Upgrade Clip in Version] 7 Pcs Front Mesh Grille Front Grill Inserts Kit Compatible for Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Sahara JK 2007-2017 (Black, without key hole)

Can't believe I almost took the time to go to Home Depot, buy gutter netting for $10 and zip tie anchors for another $5 and zip ties, and then spend 3 hours cutting and installing the mesh. Until I ran across these and figured I'd give them a shot.For the price, I am very happy with how well they fit and how "finished" the grill looks with them installed. Its hard not to think they came from the factory.The hole in the center matched up perfectly to the lock for my Bolt hood lock (see pic). I did have to use a hack saw blade to create a slot so that I could get it around the wiring for my flood lights (that were already installed) and luckily the material these are made from is not brittle, and allowed me to bend it pretty well to get the wires in through the little slot by twisting it.Note that there is an important "up/down" orientation to these - the side with the longer taper goes DOWN. Just look at the contour of the grill openings and it should be fairly obvious.

the Jeep looks perfect and easy to install but had to trim the keyhole tabs on the back so it lays flush onto the grill. Just wished it came in a gloss black so I wouldn’t have to paint them. Otherwise I’m satisfied with the turnout

So the package arrived and 2 of the clips were broken. I read other reviews and knew this was an issue. With that said, they look great on the Jeep and they cost $20. You get what you pay for! I'll figure it a way to secure the 2 broken clips and have a nice looking accessory on the grill.

Writing this review just minutes after receiving the product. I was thrilled that Amazon delivered this package on a Sunday ( my only day off ). I got all set to install it today. I started to open them and they looked great and felt like decent quality. Upon opening the first 6 were okay but the 7th was broken. See three pictures I posted. I’ll be returning these, hopefully the return will be a good experience.

Install takes about 2 seconds per insert. Key hole lined up perfectly with the Tuffy hood lock.

Nice inserts in a matte finish and easy to install.I'm considering getting a second set to paint in a highlight color.

They snap write in place no problem. If you are thinking of ordering this type remember there made to work with the hood latch lock.

This product arrived in a manilla envelope! When I opened it it was wrapped it bubble wrap however the clips were broken. I am very disappointed in this product! I am not going to waste my time to send them back due to how inexpensive they were. But I do not suggest others to purchase this product!!
