Nice Driver
I wanted to update my Burner Superfast driver & after recently purchasing Adams CB3 irons (which are GREAT), I thought I would give the Adams Super S driver a shot. I read some mixed reviews but having some previous experience with Adams clubs I felt this driver should fit my game. And it's loft adjustable. I've tried different settings & I settled on 11*.Well, I like the feel & balance and somewhat muted sound of this driver. I get very good distance & I seem to keep my ball in the fairway more often now.Great addition to my bag. Thanks Adams Golf for your innovative products!!!UPDATE : 07/07/2013After using the Super S for a couple months I decided to re-visit my 10.5* Burner Superfast. Well, here are my comments, the Burner Superfast launches higher & flies a bit further & I am hitting it straighter.(Seems to resist a fade. Good for soft faiways). It does have a harsher feel & louder sound. The Super S although adjusted to it's max at 11.5* has a lower trajectory & seems to fade more & it feel's great.(Good for firm fairways)

Excellent, high quality club, but different for me.
I'm having some trouble getting used to this driver. For some reason, I tend to hit fades, and pushes with it. I don't think it's the clubs fault however. It is a beautiful looking club and the shaft seems to be just fine. I have to keep working with it. When I hit a more typical drive, for me, with it, the launch is high and with little spin and the ball carries well. I just don't seem to be able to hit my normal drive with it, which is straight, or with a little draw.

Refund on the Adams Speedline Super S Driver
Just received the Adams Speedline Super S Driver. I had a few hits with it and it's just awful. There was no distance and no consistency in the shots. I suspect that this driver is a FAKE [I should have known, considering the low price!]I would like to return this driver and get a refund please.George T G Chan

Surprisingly disappointed
I have always been a big Adams fan. I own their complete hybrid set of V4 Ideas andthink they are as close to a perfectly made set of clubs as imaginable. That is why I bought this driverwithout even hitting it first, something I have never done!. Also, the reviews were very good. But, from the first time I hit it, it felt flat.Whereas, their other clubs seem to be so forgiving, that it crossed my mind that they mind be illegal, this was a dud. I have takenit back to the range twice and it's the same. I am dumbfounded. I had someone else hit it and they felt the same. Anyone want to buy a used Adams driver?

Not easy to love.
I purchased this driver with regular flex shaft. It sets up with a closed face or draw bias not neutral like my old Adams Redline. This leads to a severe hook if you catch it towards the heel. As long as I made a concerted effort to open the clubface as I got my grip It worked OK. I'm still trying to get it dialed in but it isn't the easiest club I ever learned to hit. I don't think some of the best hits I've had are any longer or more accurate as with my old adams redline driver. I'm kinda glad I waited until this club got cheap befor I purchased it.

Senior Gains Yards Back
I'm 67, and discovered this spring that my drives had decreased 20 - 30 yards. I had been using a TM R-11 and a Titleist 910D2. I read reviews on the TM SLDR, Titleist 913, and Adams Super S, and (somewhat reluctantly) settled on the Adams senior shaft model (it's tough to admit you're getting older). Went back and forth with the drivers this summer, but still couldn't get the ball out there consistently. I finally cut the shaft down to 44.5", regripped it, and that did the trick. It has given me back the 20-30 yards on most drives, I think because of the lighter weight, and more control with the shorter shaft. More remarkably my drives are now virtually all in the fairway. This may not be the driver for everyone, but it works well for me.

Forgiving, and the price was right!
The price was right, and this driver is very forgiving. I'm just getting back into the game this year after a decade off, so I'm still slicing some, but with the ball forward in my stance at my left heel, and a conscious effort to get my hands turned over, I can minimize it or eliminate it much better than with my previous driver, a Sumo SQ.The ball flies off the face well, even when I take some speed off my swing it gets into the air easily. I would definitely recommend it for mid-high-handicappers on a budget.

What a great looking club.
I was using an Adams 9064LS prior to buying the Super S driver. I am familiar with Adams products. The launch angle for me is higher than what I got from the 9064LS and I am noticing an extra 10 to 20 yards. I now hit the middle of the fairway between 240 and 250 yards. This is such an easy driver to hit consistently good shots with. Golf technology is on the fast lane and this is the first product I would consider replacing the 9064LS. A great value for a great driver.
