This product is incredibly annoying. Great concept but I plugged a lamp into the plug and when I have it set to “on” it constantly shuts on and off on its own over and over. Super frustrating.

I got these less than a month ago and set them up right away. I had 0 issues with them until today 10/10/18 when I was no longer able to control them with my Alexa app or my 2nd gen echo dot. I went to check the skill to see if it needed to be updated and saw in the review section that everyone's stopped working with alexa today as well. I tried restarting my router and modem, uninstalling and reinstalling the alexa app and smart life app as well as checking for app updates. I reprogrammed my alexa and the plugs 4x and still was not able to get them to work.

Stops working after a short time until reset. Basically useless. I bought another brand that works well.

Once I got these all plugged in and ready to use I love them. Only thing is with the Round ones is they are kind of big. I have a Power strip with a Big tick plug and it was a tight fit getting this Wifi thing to fit under my Chunky power strip cord. It worked but not the best fit.Besides the bulky size these things work great. Remember Clap on? These are so much better and cooler. I want all my lights to be hooked up to these plugs.

First- you have to download a ton of stuff and enter emails, passwords, blah blah blah.Then- you have to pair it with Alexa.Even after you do that- it seems to be responsive about 70% of the time. Not good enough.And the best part? It's not returnable per the seller. So unless they want to send me another and aim for a better outcome... two stars, at best.

After using PCs and Android devices for several years, I am somewhat proficient in establishing a user name and password for various web sites. However, I have not been able to get established with the web site associated with this product. I will keep trying but their web site is not very user friendly.Also, the directions that came with the device has a fairly extensive set of directions that is written on a piece of paper not much larger that a postage stamp. Sample windows that are illustrated are unreadable even with a magnifying glass.Lastly, it is written on the box that it controls from anywhere using 3G/4G/Wi-Fi. Controlling via just 3G or 4G would be highly desirable for users who shut off their WiFi to save money during long winter vacations. However, although I haven't been successful in getting this device to work at all, I am pretty sure that if I do, I will find this device needs both 3G or 4G and WiFi in order to function.

Update... My second unit (that I purchased first) failed. Read the edited review below for more. This one lasted a couple months. Short advice: Buy the Meross instead. It's rated for higher amperage and seems more heavy duty.Edit: I tried *one* EFUN version a few weeks ago and it was ok (and is still ok). So after a week of success with this one I ordered a second one. IMMEDIATE FAIL ON FIRST USE! It set up fine, but I suspect there was something in the manufacture that made it less robust than the first unit. The first one is still working.The second one should not have failed, but I suspect it is because it is only rated for 10 amps and it is possible that it was made to a slightly different standard than its twin that we received originally. The first one runs a coffee pot that draws more power than the tea kettle that plugged into the smart plug when it failed within 5 minutes.I have since replaced the EFUN plug with the "Meross" iteration rated at 15 amps. I weighed the two side by side and the EFUN weighs 48 grams while the Meross weighs 83 grams, almost twice the weight. That in itself tells me that the Meross should be more robust and hopefully will last a long time.

I dislike that sometimes these products don’t work they are cheaper than most things and they don’t work with apple home pod but they do work with both Alexa and Google assistant if you’re having trouble with the app if you do a little research they do work with some other apps I like using the app that’s not mentioned in the packaging because it works with more virtual assistants because I do have all three so it is nice to know that I can use it with at least two of them
