Wonderful!
Got the 1st one over a year ago for my catering business. Decided to get a second one for my house. The 1st time, I worried about the weakness of the little holders on the sides. Most reviews I read mentionned over and over how fragile they were. And so far I've had no problems. Of course I practice caution when removing the heavy top part of the mill. And yes it is noisy, I have to wear ear muffs. But neither the noise or the precaution I have to take outweighs the satisfaction of getting perfect, extremelly fine flour. This little machine does an excellent job. I can now bake everything and anything I need and want for my celiac suffers customers.

Great Grain Mill
We use this mill to grind wheat berries, and this mill is working great for us. You need to make sure that the motor / lid is snapped down completely, or flour will shoot out the sides. The flour is finer than with our former mill. This Blentec 52-601-FLP makes the bread softer and the loaves rise more than we were used to. Sometimes air pockets form within the loaves, and we are adjusting the recipe to correct for this condition. This mill is smaller than we have had before, so we are grinding smaller amounts for frequently.

Black streaks ended up in the ground product, even the finest setting does not produce powder
I ended up returning this product because even after 4 cups of grains that I put through it the flour had streaks of black which smelled like motor oil.I tried making superfine flour, but it came out coarse (like store bought whole wheat flour, not whole wheat pastry flour) even after running the same batch through twice. So if your goal is super fine flour, this mill might not be for you.

blendtec - the kitchen mill: Disappointing product
The mill works to some extent, but it is by far not what you would expect a commercial product to be:- rather slow- so slow that the machine gets hot enough you have to stop it (just making a single bread...)- almost comically cumbersome emptying- sprays flour if not closed very carefully- variation of milling granularity does not work

I LOVE IT WELL WORTH THE MONEY IF U LIKE GLUTEN ...
The instructions for this almost made me clog the machine. I used it to make chick pea flour. Once I learned how to work it it works quickly and efficiently. Feed the peas to it so that the peas stream in one or two at a time and it goes quickly. I LOVE IT WELL WORTH THE MONEY IF U LIKE GLUTEN FREE FLOUR

I am very satisfied with the mill so far have only used once ...
Grinds finely which is what I want. I am very satisfied with the mill so far have only used once though. I read all the reviews and was afraid of all the noise comments but I thought it was about the same volume as a vacuum. I come from farm life so am used to noises but I really don't know what all the fuss is about. Now the plastic clips do have me somewhat worried but we will have to see with future use about how they hold up.
