I was prepared for this to be poor quality, but workable. I was pleasantly surprised in how well the build went.From the start, the packaging was excellent, all pieces were separated from each other and well padded in the box. All pieces were clearly marked. The instructions were very good. I would suggest reading over the instructions before starting and counting hardware to make sure you have everything. My package had EXACTLY the proper number of connectors -- no extras, so keep track of everything. My only bit of confusion was when to use the plastic tipped connectors instead of the screw-in type. But after reading the instructions and counting how many of each I had, it became apparent.The fasteners are the usual post and cam system most furniture manufacturers use these days. I never found a pre-drilled hole that was crooked or stripped out. Use a screwdriver, not a drill, so you don't overdrive them.Although the instructions say you need two people to put it together, you really don't. It's a bit awkward at times, and a little heavy once put together, but it's do-able. The only time you might need two people is getting the box off the porch into the house. Then just move it a piece at a time.Mine is sitting on carpet, so it was a bit tippy. They do provide you with an anchor system that attaches to the top. It includes a long screw if you have a handy stud, or a wall anchor if you don't. I wanted mine a bit more sturdy, so I attached a board across the back at the top of the bookcase that is the same thickness as my baseboard. I then screwed that to the stud in a couple of places.Overall, I recommend this bookcase. It's got some style and goes together quite well.

The instructions are a total JOKE , Had to go on You Tube for a like product since the seller was closed on Saturday.....If i could have got it all back in the box ...back it would have gone !!! But then what about my time ....After 4 hours all that was left for today was the top ...Let me tell ya SUPER GLUE the top screws and every screw in ..... when you go to slide it no matter how tight the cams the top came right off ....cams all locked down tight but low and behold the top did not get a grip from the rubber coated screw and when the top shifted off so did the front lower leg area and that shifted the whole *^%$#@ thing ...Dang i was P-OED ... I tightened ALL cams before installing drawers ...but once i started to move it it here starts coming apart .....I would NEVER buy another cabinet in a Forking box ...If i add 15 a hour , for what a typical job pays with 2 of us working at it it cost wayyyyy to much in time ...It actually looks nice and it was heavy once together but now i have to go back through it ALL and Super Glue ALL the screw posts cause they ALL shifted ...*(&^%$ ...Don't do it !!!!! Just spend the extra money and buy local and already put together

It is attractive, looks just like picture. It took 6 hours to put together. I am very comfortable putting furniture together and have put many projects together successfully in the past. This one took a long time, a lot of cussing, my hands hurt, I have a few nicks and cuts from trying to get into the box and manipulating the parts to put it together. This is by far the most awkward piece a Furniture I have ever attempted to put together. It is not impossible but take your time be careful and reserve a lot of attention and patience. The top does not secure to the base. The design assumes that the fasteners will lock but they simply do not. It is not a deal-breaker but you will need some wood glue or some other solution to have the top to fasten down. I have not used it yet so I do not really know how sturdy it is. It is a particle board product but it is a heavier particle board, so I am optimistic.

I realize I could have paid a lot more elsewhere, but overall I thought this would be higher quality than it is. Selected it because it had legs, was solid black and pictures looked good enough. Big regret. Particle board along the seams shows through after assembling and overall it just looks cheap. Disappointed.

very good quality. I am not very good at putting things together, but I decided to try this on my own. I have to say this product had the clearest directions, complete with very nice photos. It was a snap. All the parts were individually packaged and labeled clearly, and cross- referenced in the instructions. There was a link to a video for a step felt to be a bit more difficult, but I did not need it! I was so pleased with myself, when, as the final steps, I slid both drawers into the chest. Wonderful -- everything aligned perfectly. Beautiful cabinet.

Simple design, good quality, and easy to set up. Coincidentally fits exactly (down to the millimeter) on the long part of the Tribesigns 83 Inch Rustic Large L-Shaped Desk.

Good looking piece of furniture. Instructions were very easy to follow, product went together very easy. Best instructions ever!!!!! Looks great and works great!!! Extremely happy with this purchase

Easy to assemble and very sturdy! As good as any I've seen in a furniture store and at a great price. I would definelty buy from this company again.
