Not the right base to hold it together to tap it

In the tool set the base does not have indentation to hold the bottom part like in the instructional video! it slips around and Bends. I don't think it's the right base for it

i purchased this and was disappointed came with some other base does not help to install the Gems it moves around too much please help would love to have the right base so i can actually use the tool properly my Gems came out bent,crooked
