Fun for little thinkers!
Great puzzle for kids interested in mind stimulating / thinking games. Good quality, light weight for travel. Easy for my son to use, and has fun while using his mind too! Good value IMO.

This review is for the Learning Resources SlideMinder game. I got this to use as an airplane activity for my 9 year old. I like that there aren’t any removable pieces. The game is packaged well for gifting. This game consists of the game and a game guide that has 30 puzzles. The game guide can slip into the back of the game board; I think that the booklet will fall out overtime so I’ll keep the board and booklet in a bag. The game is played by choosing a puzzle from the game guide and slide the pieces around on the board to duplicate the solved puzzle picture.The pieces don’t move easily in some spots and require a bit of force at times. The booklet doesn’t have a lay flat binding. I did the first puzzle and it took me two minutes to do so; it was fun but I like logic and puzzles. Some of the puzzles seem more challenging though we haven’t done enough to figure out if they are pictured in order of difficulty. I think that this would be very challenging for the average 6 year old to play independently.Overall it’s easy and portable and good for both kids and adults.

Hard to move the pieces but the puzzles are fun!
We love Learning Resources items in our homeschool so this is a difficult review to write. I feel like the idea is wonderful, but the execution not so much. The point of the game is to slide the pieces around to match the puzzles in the book, however the pieces don't slide smoothly and they get stuck very easily. This lead to a lot of frustration for my 7 year (who gets frustrated easily) and my 8 year old lost interest after a few puzzles because she couldn't move the pieces easily. The puzzles themselves are really fun and some are very challenging but with the level of frustration the design caused I don't feel like we will be getting much use out of this one. I hope there can be a redesign of this to make it work more smoothly because we did love the idea of it and really would love to be able to complete the puzzles with less frustration!

Fun and great for all ages in the house!!! Ages 5-46 we have fun with it!
