Yes this a goodlight meter for photographers ??

I would not use it for photography.  There are many better meters to use for that purpose.  This meter is made for measuring foot candles and such and is useful for comparative light levels.  Gossen or other photo meters would do better and be directly viewable with the scales on such a meter.

The name listed on the case, and the meter itself, is "Dr. Meter", and it is titled as "Dr. Meter Digital Illluminanc...B, O-200,000 Lux Luxmeter" model LX1330B.  It shows a URL of "http.//www.drmeter.com". dose the Digital Illuminance Meter LX1330B 200000 Lux Luxmeter measure indicent and reflective light?

The unit has a separate hand held photo detector that can be aimed at a light source or a reflective surface, so yes, it can measure both. In the room I am in now, I can aim the detector at the ceiling light and get a reading of 19 lux. By aiming the detector at a wall, the reading is 5.1 lux for a white wall and 1.3  lux for a dark wood door (all reflected  light, sensor aimed at the wall away from the light source). The sensor appears to be somewhat directionally sensitive, so if it is not aimed  directly at the ceiling light, the reading is somewhat less. The manual claims "..fully cosine corrected for the angular incidence of light." I don't know exactly what this means, but the highest readings appear to be directly under the ceiling light. Overall, this instrument works great and was a good buy. By the way, you can make your own light meter by simply buying a CdS photo cell at your local Radioshack store and hooking it up to a volt meter, set in the ohm resistance range. As the light intensity varies, the CdS cell's resistance changes. The CdS cell isn't quite linear, but still will give you relative light intensity readings. Hope this helps.
