… and I grant this product (5) stars. I would give it more if it was allowed. The first thing I love about this product is that its PU slim leather exterior, microfiber lining, and hard PC back cover effectively provides full body protection against drops, fingerprints and scratches. Although, its true that it makes the Samsung Galaxy S4 Tablet slightly heavier. Its easy to dismiss this drawback if you’re a student that travels often and studies in both usual and unusual places that needs something to protect your expensive buy. Moreover, the second thing I love about this product is its tucked away S Pen Holder. Most Samsung Galaxy S4 cases on the market have the S Pen Holder on the outside. I don’t care for those designs because, they tend to wear out easy, get in the way, and at time lose your beloved S pen. The second thing I love about this product is its stable tri-fold stand function, which has (2) modes that enables individuals without the keyboard to type comfortably or even watch a movie. The tri-fold stand function succeeds in this area over other cases due to it built-in magnets. It truly is a smart move! The final thing I love about this case is its Auto Sleep/Wake Feature. This is a helpful aid when you are on the go all the time. The powerful magnet secures the case closure rather than a strap that can wear out over time. I find that this feature makes it easier to snap on and off as well as a lot quicker. I can't comment on how well it works with the iris scanner. Just received this today. I wanted to give it 4 and a half stars. The first picture is of the inside of the cover. Huge plus is that my tablet fits perfectly AND holds my S-pen perfectly, too. The downside is that the magnets are in the top of the case. I like to read on my tablet and normally I fold back the top cover. With this tablet cover, folding it back doesn't work out too well because the cover keeps sliding off the back of the tablet. On another plus side is the the beautiful tablet cover itself. It is a gorgeous blue and feels a smooth, hard vinyl. I don't know about the durability because I've only been using it for a few hours. All in all, I am very pleased about this product.

Great case and it looks how it was shown on the screen. Pen is locked place. I like the case so far.UPDATE I accidentally left my tablet outside on my patio for over 24 hrs. There was a torrential downpour today. I finally had realized that I left my tablet outside. I panicked that tablet was in the rain all day. OMG! My tablet was dry! It only got a little wet when I opened the flap and to take the tablet out for the case to dry. Amazing! I don't suggest doing what I did but this case definitely held up and protected my tablet.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It's not as rugged as the "turtleshell" type cases, but it's lighter and thinner and offers some protection. I bought this cover for using the tablet around the house (for protection and because it props up the tablet) and one of the armored cases for when I take the tablet out of the house.

I bought this case after I purchase the Samsung case for the Galaxy Tab 4. I bought this one because it had a holder for the pencil that did not obscure any of the speakers in the tablet.You can tell right away that the Samsung case it made better. Just feels better, maybe better materials?I ended up going back to the Samsung case because I really don't use the pencil that much and removed the holder from that case, so it does not block the speaker anymore.But if you are looking for a case that holds the pencil and does not obstruct any of the speakers, this would be the case to get. If I was using the pencil, I would still be using this case. I still own it, I did not return it, in case I start using the pencil more, then I will switch back to this.

This was a replacement for the same case, the old one was just getting worn. I will say that it is not really gold as much as tan or sand-colored.

The Samsung tab s4 and pen work by taking advantage of magnetic fields. Unfortunately, the magnetic strip on the case disrupts the pre-existing magnetic field emanating from the s4 which causes the s pen to be worthless anywhere within a couple of inches of the magnet. I use the tab for notes, so this can be quite annoying, but I simply pop it out of its case, which is quite easy to do, whenever I need to write.All in all a good case for protection, but it seems like not much thought was put into how it would affect the usability of the device.EDIT: I purchased a screen protector for my s4 and it appears to have somehow resolved the issue I was having with the right side of the screen malfunctioning. If you are going to purchase this case, I would recommend also purchasing a screen protector to prevent any issues with the magnetic case

I bought this case for my daughter's new Galaxy Tab 4. She primarily uses it as a digital drawing surface, so the ability to prop it up and tilt it toward her was a major selling point. The drawback is that, as she's right-handed, the orientation of the tablet in the case frequently puts the ambient light sensor under her wrist or forearm causing the screen to dim. So bear in mind that you will likely need to disable the auto-dimming feature if you will use it for a similar purpose.Otherwise, a month in, she's been very happy with the case.
