This is a decent decorative locking gun case but it's not perfect.1. The first thing to note is the terrible smell from the stain. I had to leave it in the garage for several days to off-gas so it would be tolerable to have inside and not make us sick. Keep that in mind if you are especially sensitive to chemical odors.2. The texture of the wood is very rough. Some may like that but I wanted something with a more polished finish to go with the rest of the furniture in the room. I actually took some fine grain sandpaper and went around the door frame which made it smooth and gave it a nice, slightly glossy appearance so it fits in better.3. The install video notes the mounting screws have washers, but mine didn't come with washers and I think they're definitely needed so the screws don't crack the back panel. I'll remedy that when I re-hang it after making other changes.4. The door sags just a little and I could not get the hinges adjusted to make it level, so that's a bummer.5. It comes with an adhesive-backed key caddy which is a nice thought but the key barely sticks to it magnetically so it didn't seem useful.Apart from those issues, I like the case. I would have given it only 3 stars if I didn't like it as much. The engraving on the door is nicely done and the case was shipped VERY quickly so those are pluses. I also did some customization by getting some of those rubber coated gun magnets and mounted them with tee nuts and machine screws through some additionally drilled holes. I'll add more for the spare mags or other gun mounting options as well.

Love my wall gun safe. Great woodworking and everything is so smooth. Also love the color and lettering. You can put it on the wall or in the wall on the studs so it looks nice just like a frame.

No complaints whatsoever, this cabinet is perfect and even arrived a few days sooner than expected. I was originally a little worried that the lettering was going to be stickers or something that’s quick to come off, but I was wrong. It is beautifully done and I would recommend their products to anyone. I’m happy I was able to support a small business, not to mention at a very reasonable price!
