So far so good, works just fine and provides 65W of power
This is certainly not a bad USB hub for the price and considering it provides 65W of power...that's substantially more juice provided to USB devices than competitors' products. The included power supply is fairly beefy for a USB hub, and is heavier duty than the cheap 5V DC power supply bundled with a $70 13-port USB hub I bought about a year ago. Some reviews have mentioned that certain ports don't work among other problems. I have not personally experienced any issue. Ports 1-3 are charge-only, 4-10 allow for data connectivity to a PC. Unlike what the description states, the small LED's do come on and turn green on all ports when a device is connected to the hub, whether for charging or connectivity to a PC. The Hub does show up as a "Super Speed" USB 3.10 hub within the Windows 10 device manager.Be wary of off-brand USB hubs...a faulty USB hub can wreak absolute havoc on a system. Bad hubs can cause USB devices to fail, system crashes, boot failure, USB drive corruption, and may result in a wireless USB keyboard/mouse behaving extremely erratically (which was the case with the last 13-port hub I bought through here...it failed within a year).Hopefully this one lasts, but unlike the previous 13-port "aluminum" USB hub I owned before this one, there have been no issues with shutdowns and restarts. 5 stars for value and function. If it it fails prematurely I'll be back here to edit my review.

A good USB 3.1 hub at a reasonable price
Hubs are NOT glamorous, so it's hard to was poetic about them. Either thy work flawlessly or they get sent back. This one works flawlessly and I have no intention of returning it. It works perfectly even with all 10 ports in use.Enough said about that. The only improvement I could make would be to offer it in vertical (as opposed to flat on its back) configuration with the power and the USB port to connect to the host machine on its back, and with a (an optional) base so that it can stand up instead of lying down. On a crowded (physical, not computer) desktop, that would be a slight improvement IMHO.I would recommend this hub unhesitatingly to anyone who needs a USB 3.1 hub.

Works well with some oddities
When I first bought this it worked well for just communicating without the power adapter. After owning it for about a month it seems it wants to be powered up in order to work as a hub.

This hub is awesome! 3 ports especially for charging phone/tablets, 7 for regular devices.
This 10 port USB 3.1 hub is surprisingly high quality for an Amazon Basics item. It is precisely what I was looking for when it came to a powered hub which had more than the usual 3-4 ports I found during my initial search for a USB hub.The spacing between the ports is ample for plugging in USB cords for charging whatever you are looking to charge. I found thin flash drives are able to be plugged in and do not interfere with each other as long as they're not too tapered or thick in size.I use mine to power my Qi disc for my phones, transferring files from my devices to my PC, 4 ports for flash drives, a Samsung T7 SSD, a card reader for my cameras.I've yet to notice any warm spots to the touch and this pleases me. Solid quality and the Amazon name were all I needed to fully satisfy me of this purchase.

Never enough ports. Until now.
Vendors charge so much for USB 3.1 hubs. This Amazon Basics hub was well priced and a surprisingly good value for the price too. Solid construction and reliable operation are all I was looking for and this unit does the job just fine.

3 replacements, all malfunctioning within a month
This is ridiculous. All 3 replacements fails the same way, with random ports slowly losing their functionality, which suggests a design flaw, rather than a defect of a single unit.I never had a product fail on me after 3 replacements, yet here I am.Amazon, get your name off this product and do something about it, because the quality control on this device is absolutely horrendous. On one of the replacements, the faulty USB connection stopped my computer from even booting after about a week of use. I had to dig around my computer for about an hour, just to realize it was this piece of garbage giving me trouble again.I'm usually satisfied with the Amazon Basics for its lower price and fast shipping, but this one is just unacceptable in all measures.

Great USB hub
This is a great powered USB hub. 10 ports is plenty and the fact that you can power that many devices is pretty cool. The power cable has an inline brick instead of the brick at the insert prongs like most powered hubs use. The way this hub does it is a lot better as it's easier to fit the power onto a surge protector with tight real estate. I love that fact that it's USB 3.1 and I have not had any issues with it so far. I have a USB 3.0 HDD, a DJ controller,a Samsung Tablet, and an Akai MPK mini MK2 all plugged into it and none of them is malfunctioning because of lack of power. I give this device 5 stars and recommend you grab one!

Does not turn off automatically, no on/off switch
I purchased this because my computer sits a little far from my monitor and I wanted closer access to my usb ports as well as extra ports for accessories. All of the ports work great, data transfers work normal and charging ports function correctly. BUT, the major downside is there is no switch to turn off the hub, and all of the ports stay active once it's on.I was hoping this would detect input power from my computer and turn on the ports when my computer does (which it does) , but it does not turn off when the computer powers down. Extremely annoying that I have to crawl under the desk to unplug it every time I shut down the computer.Besides that, everything else looks and functions ok. The size is perfect for what I needed and double sided tape helps keep it under the table hidden out of view.
