A very good product, sound is great and the presets are also good if you find it too boomy. This box can go really loud and I haven't cranked it up to full. The Bluetooth range is the best I've experienced I can move with my phone paired with it two rooms away and connection is still strong.The remote is very good has all the buttons you will need, although I'm struggling to get used to the programme change button on the left and the volume on the right where all my other remotes for TV etc. are opposite to this.Slowly getting used to the slow switch on of the unit, about 2 seconds. I programmed the DAB stations no problem but have I am struggling to do the same with FM stations, very slow work going through the frequencies but I'll get there!CD player works well just hope it doesn't pack up like my 2 year old Phillips unit.My only wish is for the unit to be not so deep as it takes some space on kitchen worktop, but I suppose the sound would not be so good if it was.Overall well worth the money.

Bought to replace an old music system----I love this unit nice and compact but well builtPicked up all the Dab station in my area and good receptionSound quality is great with a choice of different stylesCD system worked fine just load the CD and it starts playing,it also remember the last track played and restarts at the position.I rated it overall as 4 Stars because the only let down is the remote control which is a bit flimsy and cheap,sometime the buttons do not work first timeOverall would recommend this player

I bought this primarily to solve the terrible sound quality coming from my TV. I have had various hi-fi systems, and speakers etc, hooked up over the years and spent countless hours playing with EQ settings (on both TV and system), but everything just seems to have quiet (inaudible) speech and music at deafening levels. However, this unit really levels these sounds out fantastically, so I do not have to keep leaping for the remote every few minutes. Speech is crystal clear (you hear every spoken word), music and adverts do not come blaring out. SORTED!The sound quality is exceptional (clarity, bass and treble) for a unit of this size. The sound really carries from room to room also, without having to pump it up to silly levels. You would not run a disco from it, but to have friends around for drinks and pump it up, you are going to have a great time.There are (apparently) a few things wrong with this system, however bear in mind, I have not really played around with these things for much more than 5 minutes - DAB is not great quality, neither is the FM, but this probably depends on where you place it in the house. The CD (apparently) has issues, but considering, I have just put all my CDs in the loft, will not pose any issues for me!The remote is not instant, and the display is small and can look dim from certain angles, but I really am not that bothered.I use it to bluetooth music to it and for the TV sound - both work brilliantly. It also looks very classy (ours is piano black), takes up very little space. The speakers are integral, so wires all over the place.Considering that similar units are twice the price, I think I made the right choice.

Can be setup without the guide which is a good sign of quality which this unit definitely is. I read the other customer reviews and I can say without doubt that the vast majority of them are spot on. The sound delivered is crisp and clear and delivers surprising bass given the relatively small size. It's versatility is awsome for the cost and I think it's on a par with units from bigger brands which cost 2-3 times the price.I use my Spotify on my phone connected through Bluetooth and was pleasantly surprised that I can control the Player on my phone from the units remote control.All in all one of the best buys I've made in a long time. If you're on a less ambitious budget than some but still value quality and great value for money then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fabulous mini Hifi!

We bought this to replace a cheap aging DAB radio/CD player in which the CD player had died. When we plugged it in, it did the usual DAB scan, and it sooms started producing some great sound from a DAB station, That is the end of the positve part of this review. Ten seconds later, the channel crackled and died. We struggled to find more than a tiny number of DAB stations, and most of those didn't last long. Given that our cheap old set placed in exactly the same place received many stations perfectly, this is obviously a problem with the DAB reception on the new unit. After spending a lot of time moving the aerial around to try to improve things, we gave up and sent it back. Perhaps it would be better in a place with stronger DAB reception, but we have three DAB radios in the house, including the old one, and they are all fine.

This is replacing the kitchen radio, used for Radio 3 and 4 mainly, it was bought for its bluetooth and DAB facilities.Bluetooth is fine but DAB and FM give poor reception (burbling, hiss) even with the aerial fully expended. There is no input socket for an external aerial, bad design. Has a USB charger for the phone, good! Until I can fix the radio issue I'm using my iPhone as a radio and connecting via Bluetooth - not the best quality of sound or convenience, but it works.Sound quality is good on CD and Bluetooth, remote control is very good. Front panel is poor, tiny writing, no contrast between the text and the buttons - poorly designed. I intend to make a new facia panel designed properly and legibly and stick it over the existing one, clear text, positioned next to each button, not rocket science.A good product marred by lack of attention to design detail.
