Sukam Solar Charge Controller 12V/10Amp

The charging process was supposed to have 3 stages: Bulk, Absorption, and Float. No matter what, it never reached the Float stage. This caused the battery to be overcharged, at one point, upon checking with a multimeter, I found that the amount of volts produced by the solar panel was directly sent to the battery without any regulation. So, if the solar panel were to be making 19volts, the battery would receive the same. This cause my new battery to overheat and boil, I had to disconnect to prevent any more damage. Potentiometer calibration yielded no results either.Didn't expect something like this from su-kam, customer care too is unreachable via phone and no emails where answered. The dusk to dawn feature is a gimmick as well.In short: It kept overcharging the battery and failed to do the one thing it was supposed to do: CONTROL!

The charging process was not controlled automatic. Even during day light the CFL lamp was glowing. Not satisfactory.

This product is too slow charging don't buy this .instead of this u can buy 12v 20amp for fast charging.

You write that it is MPPT charge controller but this is PWM charge controller.. very disappointing...
