The description and picture imply that this item is made and branded by BatPower, and the reviews implied that it is better and more durable than the Microsoft original. However, the item supplied, despite being in BatPower packaging, is in fact a Microsoft item, labelled as such, and identical in every way to my original Microsoft unit. Disappointing.A couple of additional observations. There are in fact two respects in which this charger differs from my original Microsoft one. Firstly, it generates a lot more radio interference, and secondly, the light in the connector does not go out when the computer is fully charged. These differences may reflect design changes by Microsoft or its suppliers, or it may be that it is neither a BatPower nor a Microsoft device, despite what is printed on it.

Works perfectly. USB also fine.Unfortunately, the laptop power connector has started to break at the connector already. Will have to use electrical tape to reinforce it. Am sure it will come apart soon anyway.Still pricey for something that is probably made for a few pounds overseas.

I had to buy yet another charger because for some reason none can make a good durable charger for the Microsoft surface book, I tried this one due to the reviews being higher than the others however when I received the the parcel, it looked all good. Opened it up plugged it in. And nothing. It doesn’t work at all. Unless you want to sit and press the charge in as hard as possible at all times. My old one works better than this one and it sparks! Waste of money and as I am a student I am now out of a lot of my money as well as being unable to use my computer.

Very good quality charger. Looks idential (same shape/size/colour/feel) as the original MS one. It's much better having the longer lead that comes with this charger rather than the very short microsoft one. So far no probelms at all. Very happy.

The charger came on time and works perfectly. It has a longer lead than my original charger that came with the Surface Pro 2 and I think it charges up more quickly than the original.So, so far so good.

The unit is of solid construction and feels very well manufactured. Cable length is great and charges surface pro perfectly

Works well, much better and runs cooler than the original I received with my surface book.
