Superb little toaster. Took us longer than you'd think to decide on which one to buy because of getting sucked into all the reviews. But if you want a small, neat, efficient and reasonably priced toaster, that toasts evenly, then the Russell Hobbs 24081 is the toaster for you.

I bought this to replace my trusty Porsche Design toaster that I’ve had for about 15 years so it had some pretty big shoes to fill. Amazingly though I’m really impressed with this little machine, for the money it’s brilliant! It looks great with it’s brushed metal casing and the functions work well. I love you can lift your toast to check on it without cancelling the cooking mode. Best of all it makes the nicest toast I think I’ve ever had, lovely and even, much better than Mr Porsche did, I think he should stick to cars. It loses a point for the size of the slots, an extra cm would be good, although I can just about fit my favourite Warburtons Farmhouse bread in if I put it in sideways and help it along. I also miss the bun rack on my old machine but they don’t seem to exist of this style of toaster, never mind, it’s nice and compact so takes up little space. I highly recommend this toaster, I’m very happy with it.

Brilliant. Had an old toaster which had no adjustments at all so used the cooker grill but that was long winded so rarely had toast. Now it`s almost a daily treat with this easy to use device. The heat adjuster is great so I can have a slightly crisp slice whilst my wife can have a rock hard piece. The tray for emptying crumbs is a great idea and saves tipping the thing upside down and shaking. Wish I`d bought it years ago.

I was a bit sceptical about the new technology claim of an evenly toasted bread but it works! Very pleased with the toaster and Iove the option you have to check the toast without cancelling the cycle.

Decent toaster, easy to clean. Not that powerful, and it's not the worlds best toaster, but it's simple and does the job. No fancy accessories for anything else, just bread in this. Would like to see it upgraded though with a bagel mode, and reheat, as well an attachment to place on top to warm butter and keep toast warm whilst waiting or something.

Nice liitle toaster, looks smart & toasts quickly , if only the slots were a little larger, a standard sliced loaf slice only just fits sideways on & even then the top edge is not browned, all modern toasters seem to use smaller slots than they used to, much smaller than the old russell hobs toaster it replaced. (strange) !

Bought this a couple of years ago and its still going strong. happy with the level of toastieness and how quickly it does the job. easy removal of the crumb tray. Ive been very happy with it. It is true what some reviews say about a large slice of bread sticking out a little, but if i ever wish to get everything toasted evenly, i just put the slice upside down for a little while longer- but I haven't had many instanced where i had to do this as i seem to be buying bread that fits perfectly haha.

Simple, stylish and efficient, recommend.
