Adds complexity to tiki cocktails and soft drinks
I was given the Smugglers Cove cocktail book as a gift and bought this to allow me to make many of the drinks in the book. Very useful with tropical or rum based cocktails. For me the key aroma added is allspice but it's a complex mix that seems to smell of different spices to different people - I note a different reviewer thinks it smells of cloves which is not one of the main ingredients. I'm also having fun adding to soft drinks - although they contain alcohol (and hence not suitable for people who are teetotal due to religion rather than preference), as you only add a drop or two, bitters are great to jazz up a soft drink when driving. This goes great with bog standard coke, making it taste like a more complex (and expensive) botanical cola such as Fentimens or Fritz cola. Don't waste it on your kids unless they are tiny gourmets! It's a massive bottle in blue glass with a pipette top so protected from the light. I've already decanted some into a smaller bottle and swapped with cocktail loving friends for some different bitters - this is my top tip for building up a variety of ingredients - because unless you're running a bar this bottle will last you years and hence is pretty good value.

Perfectamondo!
A bitters blend clearly aimed toward tiki/tropical cocktails - all the notes you'd want to add depth of flavour with cinnamon and cloves dominant.
