Long Barrel Curling Iron, Moisture Heat Technology & NanoIonic MX

I’ve tried a lot of curling irons over the years, and this is by far my favorite. I have thick, heavy hair and live in humid Florida, yet my curls actually last all day with this curling iron. The long barrel is my favorite feature. My hair isn’t especially long, but the extra length makes it so much easier to wrap my hair, create even curls, and avoid burning my fingers. I also appreciate the adjustable heat settings so I can choose the right temperature for my hair. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and gives me beautiful, long-lasting curls every time. If you’re debating whether it’s worth the investment, it absolutely is. I only wish I had bought it sooner!

My wife loves this curling iron. She wants to use it as much as possible lol she’s curling her hair wayyy more often! She has said this iron holds her curls in all day, unlike the cheap curling irons from the past!

Love this curling iron. My stylist was using on my new sewn in extensions and it kept the curl for days. I had just bought a self roatating one about six months before and thought was great until I got this one. You wont be dissapointed. Gets hot very fast.

I'll start by saying I really liked the performance of my Babyliss Pro I had been using since Aug 2024. The only reason I went back on the hunt for a new one is that the Babyliss does not have auto shut-off (as my prior few models had) and I was weary of getting to the end of my street and heading back home to be sure I turned it off. Reviews on the Bio Ionic were some of the best I had seen and it had every feature I sought: digital with multiple heat settings and auto shut-off. The longer barrel was but a bonus for my long hair that hits mid back. So, I was quite excited to try it out. The first thing I noticed and was quite disappointed by was that the built in stand didn't prevent the top several inches of the rod from resting on the counter surface. That certainly wasn't great, but I got massively frustrated the first time I used it because I kept unintentionally changing the temperature up or down as I tried to wind each curl. Changed the position of my hand and very intentionally attempted to NOT keep doing it to no avail. Ughhh. I was so annoyed. I was going to keep it a bit longer and try to find a method that didn't cause the buttons to move but also realized that the back parts of my hair weren't even getting a curl. I made sure that it was on the right temp (360) and that it had been on that setting for a good minute (you know, since the last time I accidentally changed it) and it still came out as straight as a sheet. My babyliss was still on the counter and I turned it on to my normal temp (355) and did the same section of hair with a perfect very loose curl. As a point of information, my stylist says my hair is "fine but I have a ton of it" I do use smaller sections in the front that I am trying to achieve a bit more of a curl than the back where I am just trying to smooth it and give it a bit it a wave and I have been successful in achieving that with Babyliss (3 models), Hot Tools (2 models), and Kristen Ess curling irons in that 360-ish range without any problem. Why this one couldn't do it I don't know, but between that, the stand not keeping the hot rod off the counter, and the inadvertent temp changes, it is sadly being returned. Glad others like it and I sure hope I can find my new favorite soon.

I have been looking for a really good quality curling iron and I know the price point is really high on this iron but let me tell you it is fantastic. The curls stay in my hair for days. I am not disappointed in this product at all. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good quality curling iron it’s worth the investment.

I have very thick, wavy hair and have had the same curling iron for years. When it broke, I did quite a bit of research before picking this iron. I wanted a longer length iron because of my hair length and this one is perfect. It has a longer than average barrel. You can set the heat that you want and if you are like me and accidentally click the up or down heat setting while curling, this iron has a feature to lock it so that doesn’t happen. The only feature I don’t like is that the tip of the iron lays against the counter surface. I wish it were a bit elevated. I’m attaching a few pictures so you can see what I am referencing. In picture #1 this is how it lays. In picture #2 I am putting pressure on the back of the iron so you can see what I’d like.

I absolutely love this curling iron! I have fine hair and I struggle finding a a curling iron that makes curls that actually hold. These curls seem to be staying in place and I love the long barrel. I’m able to curl my long hair all the way up to my scalp. For me this one is absolute winner. It is very easy to use, and easy to glide my hair through the clamp. I am definitely no pro at using a curling iron and I found this one very easy to use. Two thumbs up!

While it’s a bit of an investment, it’s actually more affordable than many high end styling tools, and the results speak for themselves. I have long, thick hair and the 1.25 inch works great, leaves hair smooth and shiny. There’s no tugging or pulling, just a smooth glide that feels gentle on my hair. The design makes it easy to maneuver, and with a bit of practice and the help of a few tutorials, I’ve been able to perfect my waves. For best results, I found that taking time to get the technique down is key. Once you have that, the waves turn out beautifully, and they last all day with a light spritz of hairspray.

I love this curling iron. The extra long barrel is good for long hair especially for my extremely unmanageable hair. Also I was worried it would be too heavy but it's quite lightweight. And my favourite bonus is that you can lock the temperature so you don't accidentally turn it up or down while using it (which I tend to do a lot).

Love it, does the job. Quick to curl and lasts long enough. Perfect size curl as well.

I am brand new to using curling irons, and this was a great one to learn with. I like that it did not pull my hair at all and I love that it was long enough to wrap my section of hair. I find that other irons I’ve tried to use were too short. The lock-in for the temperature setting is a game changer because I unintentionally must have pressed the temp button and off button a million times!! Highly recommend!
