Flower Painting in Watercolor

This is a great book recommendation to me.

I love the book--I have a collection of all of Charles Reid's books--they're very helpful and I want to study them all as I'm learning. Book is in good condition and very usable--thanks!

I admit. I am a great fan of Charles Reid, and think he is one of the best watercolor painters, ever. When I started watercolor painting I was living in Italy, which does not have the tradition of workshops and artist-teaching that we have in the states, therefore, I had to more or less teach myself this difficult but beautiful craft. There are many good books on watercolor technique, but I found myself drawn to Charles Reid's lovely renderings from the beginning. I have bought almost every book he has published, and feel he gives excellent step-by-step and exhaustive explanations. I would also recommend his videos for a more in-depth and deeper understanding of his painting methods. His books are, I believe, a must for any serious watercolor painter.

I use this ebook more than any other I own. I love doing the exercises. And I love the clear way he writes about what to do next. I am learning so much about how to mix paint which is why I bought this in the first place. I want to do flower paintings and this is one of the most helpful books I have ever read.

Charles Reid willingly shares his knowledge of watercolor painting and forces the reader to work on improving. Perhaps his style is not everyone's cup of tea, but I love his paintings and his style, and find his instructions most helpful, and, if followed, most rewarding.He shares his own frustrations and mistakes and confidently conveys the difficulty of watercolor painting. This makes me want to keep going.

I've purchased three Charles Reid books now, and they never disappoint. He is very generous with his tutorials and beautiful work. I would happily recommend this book.

This makes flower painting easy, it just clicked (for me) certainly worth a look

I have several of Charles Reid's books and have always been well satisfied with them, but the quality of the paper and the print made the book completely useless.I was very ver disappointed!
