Zephyr 685 CFM 30" Wide Wall Mount Range Hood w/ ICON Touch Controls & Airflow Control Technology Stainless Steel

After paying almost $700 for this and finally getting it installed, the range hood itself WAS good. We purchased the recirculating kit from Build.com to go with this (better price on the recirc kit than Amazon). When installing the kit, the bar didn't fit this unit, though it was the correct kit. Contacted Zephyr (great customer service), they researched (physically finding both of these items) and drilled an additional hole for us and are mailing a new kit...BUT, they informed me that Prime Appliances is NOT an authorized user and thus, no warranty! I had purchased an additional warranty at the time of purchase and they said it was good that I did.HAHA! NO! though we paid for this extended warranty (via Amazon) this has been our experience:We paid $700 for a range hood from Amazon, which, be forewarned, the manufacturer may not cover it as Amazon is not a specified dealer for many products.Having purchased a 3 year extended warranty from Warrantech, we turned to them when our range hood (purchased 11/2018 and installed Feb 2019) stopped working for no apparent reason.Warrantech scheduled us for a repair company to come out, gave us the company name...we waited...no call or tech. Called the repair company who told us we weren't even on their books/schedule. Called Warrantech, they rescheduled with another company...husband did a check..this company isn't even in business anymore! Called Warrantech, they said they would have to find another company (keep in mind we live in Atlanta, GA--not a rural location) and it may take 4-6 business days to find another repair company.When we read the BBB comments and ratings on repair people that they send out (that have damaged people's houses and ruined the appliance further with no resolution) we are livid. A huge waste of money buying an extended warranty (at least from this company).Range hood is powerful on high (not quiet, but does the job), looks gorgeous! We also purchased an additional height cover as our ceilings are 9.5 ft. After figuring out how to cut a round cover to fit an angled ceiling, it looks great!

Very sleek and stylish. I like the curved front edge compared to the square styles I checked out. Light, LED, perfect. Vent sound, very good on four levels. Five, louder, but not so bad compared to other models I've heard. Very happy with this purchase. Installing, took some time as we did ourselves. If you're not handy, I'd have professionally installed.

Gorgeous looking! The slight curve to the front gives it a unique style that is stunning. Functional and very powerful fan. The only criticism I have is that the touch controls are not quite always easy to see because they are not raised and blend in with the finish.

Looks very good. Built well. Took a few times to learn how to use the blower control. Very minor learning curve. Probally whould have helped if I read the instructions. Would have taken more time to read than just to give it a shot. Once I understood the control I liked the way it sets up. Would recommend this product.

This was installed by our contractor. I love this hood. I loved that it had a soft curve rather than harsh lines or corners. It looks amazing. Was packaged super well and had a plastic coating we only removed at very end of installation. Love it. It looks great and sucks up all smells from stove.

This is a beautiful range hood. We love the overall look and the controls. It’s a bit louder than I expected it to be - but it does work exceptionally well. SIGNIFICANTLY better air movement than the much cheaper hood it replaced.I really like how easy to clean the screens are and the controls are great and easy to operate.
