No longer working--possibly the wires inside broke? Didn't last as long as I had hoped. However, the look and feel -- blue is NOT JUST FOR BOYS! Come on! can't we stop the gender stereotyping?!!!!---- and the no-tangle aspect was really great. I felt reassured by the decibel level limits as well. Hearing loss is no joke, expensive to deal with, and not easy to understand, since the effects of damage are only felt years and years afterwards. Thanks for making a good product to help parents keep their kids hearing safe.

Love them and so does my daughter. Much easier to pack/carry then traditional over the head noise limiting headphones.

This is an inferior and poorly constructed product. We bought these earbuds for our gentle 11 year old. Not only was the audio quality terrible, after only a handful of uses, the left earbud detached leaving 2 short dangling wires with no way to re-attach. Save your $.Addendum (March 20, 2014): Following up on my earlier review, on a positive note, the company responded quickly to my request for a replacement (w/ free shipping). We'll see...

These headphones are wonderful! They cup the area of the ear surrounding the ear canal. They are not meant to cover the entire ear. Even so, they provide dampening of ambient noise, so you can get lost in your music. I am a pretty big guy (6'7") with average head and ears for my body size, so if they work on my head and on my ears, they should work for pretty much anybody. Two days ago I used them while playing the original Zelda Ocarina of Time (I didn't know that game sounded so good!) for 3 hours straight, and my ears didn't get very sore, so they are comfortable too! The sound quality is strong for both bass and treble. When I switched to these I heard things in my music that I never heard before, and you probably will too. An example is in "Practice" by Drake there's a very lightly played, very deep drum that is a focal point of the song that I never knew was there until I listened to them using these. Adele sounds better, Hip Hop and classical music sound better, everything sounds better with these! I have to admit, I bought mine on sale, but I think that even at $30, these are a much better deal than the $200 sets or even the $80 ones available.

They fell apart in two weeks. Not built well enough to withstand being used by a 9 year old. Wouldn't buy again.

Broke within 3 days of gentle, supervised use (by a 13 year old). The wire separated from the ear bud.

I'm so disappointed in this purchase. For disclosure, I did not purchase through amazon, but rather at the airport for my daughter to use on an airplane. While I appreciate the effort to protect the hearing of young ones, on an airplane these earphones are useless. We could barely hear the audio from her iPod. On top of that, one of the replaceable earbuds kept falling off. I would return these earphones if I could, but now I'm over $20 out on this piece of junk. The only positive was the tangle-free cord.
