9704230 Blender Coupler with Spanner Kit Replacement Parts Compatible with KitchenAid KSB5WH KSB5 KSB3 Driver

My Kitchen Aid blender recently had this part break. This was easy to replace and now the blender is back to working like new! Great value and quality made part!

Worked perfectly on my Kitchen aid mixer. Easy to install. Mixer is like new.

Easy to change this part with tool provided. Good to know it is reverse threads. Works great so far.

it is a pretty good replacement so far. my only issue is it may be too short. there was a video i saw that stated you may need a washer for the part to be at the correct height. i think that man in the video was correct.

Parts work well and inexpensive and easy process to locate and order. A lot of convenience from the start of ordering to receiving to fixing my blender.

This product includes two replacement couplers and one spanner. The product was delivered rapidly and the included spanner worked correctly to remove and replace the original coupler. The first replacement coupler broke progressively over only 3 uses of the blender despite the other blender components still moving smoothly and easily when turned by hand. All teeth were progressively shredded off about halfway along their length so I think the flexible teeth are too weak for the intended use or the dimensions are not to specification compared with the original part. I have just swapped to the 2nd supplied coupler and added close fitting washers to total 1.5mm thickness between the base of the part and the axle so as to push the contact point of the coupler upwards so it has a thicker cross section where the force is transmitted to the blender jug. See photos for further explanation. Follow up after 1 year: the modification as above provided 1 year of good service (used a few times each week) and then the teeth finally gave way again (1 at a time). Still usable with 4 teeth but looking for another alternative. I would have given 2 stars except for the rapid service and the fact there were 2 parts so I could try something different the second time.

This little kid comes with the spanner that is needed to takeoff the old and put on the new. It’s almost impossible without this little tool.
