Zymol Z503A Cleaner Wax - 16 oz. (Set of 2)

This is one of my go-to products when I need to polish a problem spot or minor scratch on one of my cars. It is not very abrasive, but has enough to deal with small scratches. Of course it is also a great wax and super easy to use in the usual way. New users are usually surprised by how easy it is to use and what a great job it does. I use these as gifts for friends when they buy new cars to get them thinking about a good car care program.

I used this product back in the late 90`s and it was amazing and then it disappeared. Its back and it amazing today. It goes on easy and come off easy. It removes the oxidation and is really spectacular for cleaning up a dull, lack luster clear coat and making it shine like new money.... with NO buffing machines! The more you use it the better it works Just easy on, easy off. You can buy those expensive kits but, this stuff is heads and shoulders above the rest This is real German engineering!! OK. So I bought my midlife crisis car: 2008 BMW Z4, metallic midnight blue. Up until now, I have always had white cars so even though I took care of them, I didn't go all out because well, they were white. With this car, I decided to baby it and rally keep it spit polished and shined.This stuff was great. Smaller car so by myself, only took about an hour. it dries really, really fast, even in the shade. So I did small sections at at time, as recommended, and the shine was unbelievable with no streaks or smears. I followed this up by spraying Surf City Quick Detailer (also on Amazon and awesome stuff) and that took the shine to the next level! It really made the paint pop. When I stepped back to look at it I couldn't believe the difference this combination made and it was already looking good from previous wax and polish: Mequires). The car feels super slick and has an extremely deep mirror shine. I'll not use anything else. Don't know how it makes white cars or non metallic paint cars look but if you have a darker color car, Zymol will bring your shine to the next level.Highly recommend.

Back in the day, I had done some detailing work, and we all loved Zymol. The wax was rather costly, however. Then Meguiers came out with an outstanding cleaner wax in the mid 90's that made all of our lives easier. So, I stopped using the zymol hard-wax and moved to the new cleaner hybrids. It took Zymol a few years to bring to market, so I was glad to see that they understood the market and developed some thoroughly modern products. I have been using this Zymol Cleaner wax ever since it received top reviews from CR and a few car mags. As a side note, I was a biochemist for a while and always like to devise "tests" on the products I use! So, I chose to wax my car with Zymol, and my wife's car with Meguiers cleaner wax, as well as my truck with Mother's cleaner-wax. I can't say that there were huge differences in performance between the 3 brands over the 10 years that I have used these waxes. But, there are a few reasons why I chose to use the Zymol wax on my car and not the other 2. First, the Zymol applies very easily. It spreads well and is easily removed by buffer, or by hand. The scent is very pleasant too. I noted that the zymol must also have an oil in it that remains after the buffing. I noticed that my car (grey metallic) had a deeper, almost "wet" shine to it. This effect only lasts about 2 rain storms, but it is still very rewarding! As far as longevity, they were too close to call. I got more oxidation from the Mother's brand, but it was on a Honda and not a Porsche. The paint may be a large variable. As far as the "cleaner" effect, I would say that it seems to remove light swirls and hard water spots effectively. I still use a dedicated swirl-remover from meguiers before I wax anyway...... So in conclusion, I would say that the Zymol wax is an easy to apply, 3 month lasting, nicely scented, reasonably priced, and wet-shiny product. I only gave it 4 stars because I would prefer if it lasted 6 months!

I've used many diff waxes over time - and I always go back to Zymol. I've used Meguiar's, Turtle Wax, and a few others. It's not that the others weren't good, it's just that Zymol has the best of everything. I use it on black cars and brings out a deep mirror shine. I've used it on white cars and it leaves them bright white. On other colors, it leaves a great gloss. It doesn't have annoying fumes - it actually smells good in my opinion.I wax all my cars by hand - and this brings out maybe the ONLY drawback of this wax: if you apply a heavy coat, it can take quite a bit of work to buff. Also, I keep shaking my towel to get rid of the residue from buffing. However, these are only small nuances in my book. Once you finish it leaves a cool, silky smooth coat of wax.Note: to make my shine last longer, I dust off the car everyday to remove the layer of dust that a waxed car seems to attract. Not really sure exactly how long the coat of wax lasts bc I wax my car every other week.

I have been using Zymol for many years and have found it to be a very high performing product. It applies and, more importantly, buffs off quite easily. The one caveat is you need to follow the directions on the bottle carefully. You apply to the vehicle in about 2 square foot sections...wax on, wax off. If you leave it on too long it is indeed difficult to remove. A testament to it's durability, which is one of the strong suits of Zymol. I have tried many other products of this kind that make all sorts of claims but I have yet to find one that can both match the shine and durability of Zymol. It is also economical. A little goes a long ways. I'd guess you could easily do four or more full sized cars with a bottle. And yes, as others have said...it smells good. Think tropical island...you'll have an idea why people make the comment to begin with.One last comment...I've found it hard to sometimes find this product locally which is why I purchased it at Amazon. The Amazon pricing is typically less than what I have had to pay at a local outlet. That's a bonus as far as I'm concerned.Summary: A good product that exceeds expectations at a fair price when purchased through Amazon.

One of the very best waxes i have used on my car , really brings the shine out , especially on a black car, gives a wet look to the paint, lovely smell to the polish as well , which also removes small swirl marks as well as protecting the bodywork with a good quality wax, i would highly recommend this product.

I have been waxing cars for 45 years. Zymol is the shiniest wax there is because it is the best choice to remove oxidation and invisible dirt as you wax. The shine you get is better than a new car. You réalisé this as you touch the car once polished.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
