The spiders worked perfectly. Despite their somewhat unrealistic appearance upon first glance they fooled our housemate into thinking they were totally real. Our housemate descended into total disarray and fear of where the next spider may be. This has unfortunately resulted in stern conversations at the dinner table. When purchasing - make sure you know where the boundaries are. However, they will be brilliant if don't if you don't mind a telling off.
