Enrico Large Mango Wood Bowl

I purchased two. These mango wood bowls are beautiful and both are quite unique (one of a kind). While they have differences in appearance both function the same. They sit flat with no wobble at all. I use them to display fresh fruit and each holds about 5 large apples. The functionality of the bowls is great but what I really love is that you are getting is a piece of handcrafted artwork. While the sides of the bowls do not come up all the way around the bowls as pictured (both have higher sides on either end with a dip in the middle) I don't mind as (again) one should expect that a hand made item will not look exactly like the display item. I like the imperfections that others seem to note as a negative. I like the uniqueness of both of my bowls. They are somewhat smaller than described but not by much. I knew what I was ordering and am pleased with this purchase.

I received this bowl today it is not the size or shape advertised here. The bowl described on the page here is 10" x 10" x 4" (as of July 4, 2012.) The bowl I received has a label with the matching part number of 2835A, but the label lists the dimensions as 10" x 9" x 3". The narrow sides of the oval are significantly lower than the ends with only 2 sides being of the stated 3" in height. The actual depth from rim to bottom (on the outside, much shallower on the interior) of this oval bowl is a mere 1 1/2". When viewed from the side, the bowl is more reminiscent of a handleless basket than the bowl I see pictured or described above. The disclaimer that each is handcrafted and unique is not sufficient to explain the variations. Had I not needed a round, 4" deep bowl, I would give this "bowl" 5 stars. Instead, I am giving it 3 stars and keeping it since it is too beautiful to return.

When wood products say "size may very" what they really mean is 'will always be smaller than listed, ideal, measurements'. Still, this bowl comes pretty close to the mark and looks good. I added a picture with a can of soda for scale.10X10X4 advertised9.25X9.75X2 to 3.5 received.An inch does a lot to the circumference of a circle, but this is certainly close enough. The height on the lowest side is only 2 inches tall, and on the tallest side the edge is 3.5 inches. The 'bark' top edge came with dried bark that immediately flaked off a bit, but not to a product changing degree. Over all, bowl looks great and seems solid.

The bowl I received looks nothing like the picture on the website. Mine is very light in color. Very small too. Can't return so buyer beware!

i bought this last minute as part of a 5 year "wooden" anniversary. It arrived size 10x9x3 even though specs say it's 10x10x4. It actually is much smaller than you can picture. Since it was too late to return, Amazon stepped up and refunded a portion of my cost. Other than that it was a pretty nice bowl, and my wife does like it.

Great quality and looks beautiful. Quick delivery and safe packing. Tho it is small for anything labeled large.

Although I read the previous reviews, I decided to purchase this wooden bowl based on the provided dimensions. It is small to medium in size since the 10" is the measurements of the outer lip. The bowl tapers down and provides volume of about 4 cups. The color of the bowl I received is much lighter than in the photo and the whole appearance is of a raw product. I used it to serve red quinoa with diced roasted veggies, which created a nice contrast of colors and an earthy vibe.

I ordered this bowl to use as a fruit bowl. It is absolutely gorgeous and handmade from Thailand. It is of great quality and craftsmanship, and makes a great accent piece. My only complaint is that it does not completely fit the description. It is called a "Large" bowl, but it is only 10" wide, which I would consider more of a medium size, making it feel expensive for what you get. This is the largest size of any bowl the seller carries. If the dimensions were listed, I would probably not have bought it. It also is not as tall on the sides as the picture shows (it looks a lot more like the picture for the medium size bowl); it's sort of oblong and really can't hold much. This bowl is great for decor, but not as functional as the picture depicts. We are keeping it, but can only put smaller fruit in it.
