In Jan we moved into a home that had a garden that had not been touched for at least 40 years. Having spent months scarifying, tilling, levelling and aerating, we were ready to sow the lawn. The garden is surrounded by established oaks, so whilst almost all of it gets some sun at some point of the day, it also sits under a fair bit of shade, hence the decision to go with this particular blend.The product arrived quickly and safely, simply yet very nicely presented. I have never before sown grass seed, though the seed itself looked uniform and as I would have expected. After a final rake to remove the last of the dead/dying organic matter on the soil, I used a broadcaster to spread the seed, having sowed the edges by hand. Once done, we trod (heeled) the soil and let the following 3 days of light rain take care of moisture. When things became drier, out came the sprinkler and in less than 2 weeks, we had a lawn.I finished off the 20KG bag yesterday when overseeding, and will be ordering another so we've got a supply to use when filling in any sparse areas.I could not be happier. It has transformed the garden and neighbours can't help but comment when walking past - those same neighbours who suggested turfing it, which I am so pleased we didn't.

A lot of the seeds haven’t grown although the most shaded are doing well. Seemed a cheap option but I’ve had to buy more. Maybe my fault?

What can I say about this product. I have a fairly small garden and growing grass has always posed an issue due to the huge wall and East facing garden. I thought I would give this seed a go as the reviews were impeccable, and I wasn't disappointed. I scraped up what old grass I had left and turned over the soil. I raked in some pellet bone and blood seed and followed the instructions on how to seed a lawn. The picture is attached is a 6 to 7 week difference. It grass is so bright green, strong and healthy and I couldn't believe the change from the many issues I have had previously trying to grow a new lawn. I would say this is the best on the market and the picture is pretty good proof of this

We did not feel that the performance warrants the price as compared to brands at B&Q.

No joy yet but the cold weather has probably spoiled it

Good quality produce, put down last year, growing strong and well, especially in the shaded spots.

The seed produced a lot of weeds and rye grass, wouldn't buy it again.
