Saucony Men's Spitfire 5 Track Shoe

My son used these spikes for track this year. He said they fit well and are very lightweight. He had to replace spikes from time to time and it was easy to do.

I found that this shoe offers good support and a responsive feel. I found the fit to be true to size and the upper provides adequate lockdown. The 7-pin plate offers decent traction on the track, and the shoe feels lightweight and nimble during sprints. However, I did notice a few minor drawbacks. The cushioning could be slightly more plush for longer sprints, and the durability of the upper might not be as high as some competitors.

My son is a sprinter and these spikes have held up well through the season. The size was true to his foot but a little narrow. had to run them in, but only took one practice session and was good to go.

Aside from the Saucony foothold in long distance/cross-country running, Saucony generally aren't the Track & Field go-to sprinting spikes for shorter distances (400 meters and shorter) but surprisingly this pair turned out great for my high school aged son! He likes the form fitting comfort, firm forefoot-spike-plate, the style, and color choices. At the price and Amazon availability* they can't be beat! * Nike & Puma both were out-of-stock or only available in super small or extremely large sizes.

Quality spikes with great gripping sole.

True to size, economical and as comfortable as cleats get. My HS son likes them for sprinting and extra points because they look sharp!

Could not find track shoes anywhere where I live so Amazon to the rescue! These shoes fit my son perfectly and he got his personal best at offssa west! He loved them and they fit perfectly!

Buena compra, me parecen de buena calidad, son bastante ligeros y cómodos, me llego con todo lo que espere que debia tener: llave para los picos, los 14 picos, su morral para guardar los spkies; me llego un poco maltratada la caja de los spikes pero ahí en fuera todo bien. Tardo bastante en llegar.

La qualità della scarpa è molto buona. Unico problema è stata la taglia. Quella che avevano fatto provare gli allenatori era un 38 come quella ordinata ma probabilmente la ditta ha cambiato la corrispondenza in cm visto che a parità di numero eur non corrisponde il numero uk e us. Le nuove portano 0.5 cm in meno. I tacchetti sono da pista.

Run in winter packed snow and ice trails in full confidence of not slipping and falling. I Recommend the half inch spikes to assure best grip on winter trails. I thought my last 4 spike shoes were great, but now having the seven spikes I am even more impressed. Highly recommend these shoes for winter running fun and safety

I’m not a track athlete but I wanted track cleats to run in during the summer. The material could be more comfortable but I knew I could live with it. I did a quick review of 5 other shoes some way more expensive and honestly for what I needed these are doing the job and then some. The spikes are easy to install and work perfectly. Would recommend this shoe specifically for casuals like myself.
