Does this just freshen up items or will it actually clean out spots?

When using Dryel, the heat of your dryer activates the cleaning solution in the Cleaning Cloths to release a steam that removes body soils and odors from the clothes. The Fabric Protection Bag maintains the optimal balance of cleaning agents and heat, allowing the steam to work thoroughly through the clothes, and then slowly vents the vapors out of the bag and dryer. Question 2

Does dryel really work on wool cashmere coats? i have one which is very expense. can i put garments into normal wash bags instead of dryel bags??

Accepted Answer

If it’s a full-length coat, it will not fit in the Dryel bag.  Mesh wash bags would not work as well as the Dryel bag as they are too porous.

Question 3

Anyone else having red dye from the "Dryel" logo spot all over the bags and clothes?  Last batch of bags was bad & ruined expensive vintage clothes.

I've used Dryer for years and have saved so much money versus dry cleaning.  Perhaps I'm still using an older bag for my clothing because I have never had any fading or discoloration from the red Dryer logo.  I am so sorry that your vintage clothing was ruined.  I always separate dark and light clothing when using this product, but this has nothing to do with the big, red Dryer logo.  Did you use too hot of a temperature setting?  I'm certain that you followed all of the printed directions.

Question 4

Will. It work on  bed comforter?

Probably not.  The dryel bag used is way to small to fit even a twin sized comforter.  Maybe the sheets can be used with the blanket sans bag in dryer but not sure if it would work properly then.
