Lauschaer Glaskunst Crookes Radiometer with solid stem sphere 80 mm

The media could not be loaded.  Well designed, pretty, radiometer. I broke our previous one years and years ago through over-enthusiastic dusting and this is a very belated replacement and early Christmas gift. It is well made, teh 'sails' are well-balanced, and the glass is very clear. It works in low sunlight and of course also in strong sunlight and torchlight. It delights us at breakfast when we have sunshine in the room. Find a safe place to display it, and do not clean it vigorously... Packaging was excellent and very protective. I highly recommend this item and supplier.

Order 10 Dec received 13 Dec and appears to have been posted in Germany so very impressed with delivery and service.Very well wrapped in small box and then in larger box with plenty of padding around it to keep small box in place during transit.I was worried that such a delicate object may not travel well -no need to have worried, as it was so well packed it arrived safelyMy husband and I have had one of these for many years and it fascinates us both. We decided to get one for friends' Christmas present - so pleased we were able to find this one on line as certainly could not find one in any local shops.

I bought this as my Granny and Grandpa used to have one on their kitchen windowsill. It fills me with joy to see it spinning like crazy in the sunshine and reminds me of them every time. It arrived quickly and the packaging was great for keeping it safe!
