I waited to make a comment, until I'd had used the jug for many months and I can now confirm that it is absolutely excellent. The glass jug is very easy to use and extremely easy to clean, although it doesn't need cleaning as often as the plastic ones. The design is great and it takes up less room than my old plastic one did. I found that the filter light change system tells you to change the filter too quickly. I actually used the same filter a second time, before needing to change it, with no problems. I would most definitely buy this again, although keeping it out of harms way, at the back of the work surface, hopefully ensures that it shouldn't need doing for years !!

The first one I had was accidentally tipped cover and tapped against a metal object. The whole glass jug cracked and fell apart. The glass is very thin. Whether this was a fault I don't know. I would have expected a jug like this to be made of toughened glass. The supply replaced it without any hassle. I do find it a bit top heavy when you have just filled it and the water is still draining through. The small base does not help this and I think a less smart design with a wider base would be better. The filler hole is great as it closes automatically when the fill is at the top. The warning light that the filter needs replacing is also very useful.Looks smart.

I love this water filter. It works really well, and I'm so happy that my water doesn't sit in plastic all day (even if there are plastic pieces). I feel like the water tastes better than the plastic jugs I've had in the past. It's also really easy to refill. My only complaint is that I feel like the light that shows you if the water filter is ready to change or not is too short. I usually let the filter go through 1.5 cycles of the lights before changing it.

The jug is fine but it is not %100 glass. It looks like glass mixed with plastic. I ordered less than a month and i need to change the filter

I really like this filter jug, nice shape and easy to use. Pouring much better than my last well known jug. Most importantly it is glass, as I am trying to limit use of plastic, water seams to taste more pure using the dafi filters.
