This thing does what it is supposed to. Quality in the product build isn't the best but you pay for what you get I suppose. When I get the thing working it is pretty cool having my phone plugged in with my projector. Only problem that I run into is that the damn thing so too loose.... the chords I plug in don't always "plug in" the video so the video cuts on and off all the time. It gets really really annoying. Otherwise, it is a solid product when it works.Edit:This thing is no longer in working condition. Let me explain that sentence. When I first started using it, it would cut in and out but if I re-positioned the chords right, it would work and I would have no issues. NOW, even if I reposition the chords, the video and audio cut in and out every 2-3 seconds. It has gotten to the point that I just don't use it anymore and it is now sitting on the shelf in my closet. I try it every couple days when I feel like it but every try is the same. Continuous cutting in and out. I DO NOT recommend getting this. It was a waste of money I could have used to get food or get something else....

With the MacBooks(Pro, in my case) you have two Type C ports and that's it. Now I don't too many attachments but dongle is all I need. It has the HDMI hool up and the USB port that I usb for flash storage. The best thing about it is it doesn't take up alot of space and it's flexible, plus when I'm done with it I can fit it in my laptop bag in one of the smaller sleeves. No complaints at all.

This worked intermittently displaying HDMI with my Macbook Pro. I have another adapter that works every time, but this one is flaky. After coming back from the computer being suspended I had a hard time getting it to work. Going to return it and try a different brand.

It doesn't, very disappointing and return window closed after it was given as a gift. Stuck with junk now.

I bought this to connect my 2017 MacBook to an external monitor and simultaneously charge my laptop battery. Works perfectly so far - no issues! Love the multiple ports. The adapter fits easily in my laptop case without being bulky. I recommend this product because the price is right and the features exceed what others provide at much higher prices.

Replaced my usb-c to hdmi with this cable. Very nice only having to worry about plugging in this one cable, the pass through keeps my 15 inch mbp powered

I received my Type-C Hub with HDMI and was pleased with the overall performance. I streamed multiple video types thru the HDMI port with excellent image quality. Very usefull for computers that don't typically have a USB or HDMI port. Would highly recommend!
