Pros: it polishes the tank water very quickly.Cons: it overflows very quickly.Ive only got about 200gph of return flow in a small 12 gallon tank and it will begin to overflow in about a week. It's time to swap them out anyways by then. It really pulls everything out if the water! I just use them when cleaning the glass now. Other filters I've had last... I'm ashamed to admit it, months. Those filters are better for catching food but these ones catch all the green and brown algae from glass cleaning. Have lasted almost 3 years.

For people complaining they get clogged and overflow....thats what they are supposed to do. You should be changing a filter sock like every 3-4 days. I bought a bunch and just rinse them a little when I swap and then do a load at a time washing them with bleach. So far so good. I would and have bought again

Product is as described and works well. The only "complaint" is that they are packaged envelope style. When in shipment things getting sat on them warps them and make it difficult to get them to lay flat once installed so water doesn't bypass them. You can "tweek" them a little and get them much better for the most part but I do have a little water bypass but not enough to take any action to return them.

First set of felt filter socks that didn’t rip or come apart at the seams. I’ve definitely put some stress on the and they’re holding together well enough to buy a second pair. When washing, I soak them in a vinegar solution, run them through the hand wash cycle, and allow to air dry.

These work great. I tried the “Amazon’s Choice” brand and they started coming apart after the first wash, but these are going strong. They also let less bubbles through the fabric, cutting down on micro bubbles in the display. I will definitely buy them again

Seems to be good just started using these. It foams alot so not sure if that's just how they work or what. Nothing bad has happened to my fish or coral

It does a great job filtering waste from my 140 gallon tank. I replace them once a week with another fresh pair. Rinse them well with the garden hose then put them through the washing machine. Good as new for the following week.
