Right battery, right price
What can I say... a good battery for my APC backup unit that protects my computer. Slips right in and passes all the system tests. And, about half the price of the "official" battery replacement. What's not to like?

2 ups units
I have these units on all expensive electronics, those out your surge protector. Now about the batteries, my first unit lasted for years, longer than I would have imagined. The battery went out, I order a new unit and a new battery. Now I have ups units on every thing. The batteries aren’t cheap, but it’s like having a new unit for 1/2 the cost.

Longivity cannot be rated until the battery has been in use for a few years
Seller claims that these lead acid batteries are of the AGM type (more info below). My original battery pack was 5-years old. Because it lasted this long, experience with similar batteries suggested that I should replace it before it failed. It's called preventative maintenance. From my experience over the decades, some sealed batteries like these will fail before others. Quality of manufacturing, how long the batteries sit unused on the shelf, and the frequency of deep cycles are likely the three biggest factors affecting longevity. Regarding deep cycles, it depends on the type of sealed lead acid battery it is-and THE DESCRIPTION AND SPECIFICATIONS DOESN'T TELL US.Additional information regarding batteries typically found in UPSs:1. What Is Deep Cycling? -Deep cycling involves discharging a battery to a significant extent (usually below 50% capacity) and then recharging it fully. -Unlike shallow cycling (where batteries are only partially discharged), deep cycling helps prevent sulfation and maintains battery health.2. How Often Should You Deep Cycle Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries? -The frequency of deep cycling depends on usage and the specific battery type. -Flooded Lead-Acid Batteries (FLA): These traditional batteries benefit from regular deep cycles (e.g., every 1-3 months) to prevent stratification and sulfation. -Valve-Regulated Lead-Acid Batteries (VRLA): --Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM): AGM batteries are more forgiving and can handle shallow cycles. However, occasional deep cycles (every 6-12 months) help maintain capacity. --Gel Batteries: Gel batteries are sensitive to overcharging and prefer shallow cycles. Deep cycling should be infrequent (once a year or less).3. Signs You Need to Deep Cycle Your Battery: -Reduced Capacity: If your battery doesn’t hold a charge as well as before, deep cycling may help restore capacity.- Sulfation: If you notice white crystals on the battery plates, deep cycling can break down sulfation.4. Tips for Effective Deep Cycling [This is what any good UPS should be doing]: -Avoid Over-Discharge: Don’t discharge the battery too deeply, as it can harm its lifespan. -Use a Smart Charger: Invest in a charger that supports deep cycling and has desulfation modes. -Monitor Voltage: Check the battery voltage periodically to determine when it needs a deep cycle.

Didn’t hold a charge.
Didn’t hold a charge in my APC be600m1. Amazon reached out to them to contact me since this isn’t a returnable item via Amazon fulfillment.. They never responded. Had to get something else. Money wasted.

Purchased to replace battery in APC 650VA/BN650M1 battery backup
Packaged perfectly. Fits exactly like the oem battery. No issues with clearance of the battery terminals or connections. Simply a perfect fit. Can't beat under $30 and 2 minutes of your time vs buying a whole other battery backup and adding to our landfills.

This RBC154 Battery fits the small and narrow APC UPS
I ordered two 1228 batteries from two vendors, only to receive 1234 style 7A batteries. I have enough 7Ah UPS batteries for the following year. Make preparations before your purchase by verifying matching dimensions. This is the proper size 1228 battery for my small UPS.The electric connections fit inside the case, not on the outside. If you install it backwards the cover will not slide back on. This battery has a small (F1) negative and a large (F2) positive spade connector, but my connections fit snuggly and the APC UPS came back to life.

Best replacement battery
I've used a few of these APCRBC154 Replacement Batteries, and they have all worked at least as well as the APC factory units.
