Tupperware Limited Edition Banana Keeper for All Size Bananas

A little big but I like that it will accommodate any size banana no matter how curved. Now I can commute with a banana without a mushed mess. I keep in in my fruit bowl when not in use. The clasp is easy to open and close and stays securely closed in my backpack. I love that it is dishwasher safe and haven’t had any issues. My coworkers love the concept…I know what I’ll be getting them as holiday presents this year HAHA!

These are large enough to hold any banana size. They last a long time and are so handy for traveling with bananas

Didn't think how this would hold any size banana, but it does. It's a bit on the thick side but that gives it the flexibility to hold any banana. Very sturdy and it protects the banana in my backpack. No more squished or bruised bananas.

We've had one of these for years; it went to work daily. Almost every banana fits in it (we've had to chop off a couple of stems) and it protects them perfectly, even when tumbled around in a bag of stuff. We got a second one and it's identical to the old one, so we expect it to continue to work well for years to come.

This container has fit every banana I have attempted to fit into it. Does exactly what you need it to do. It is large, yes, so doesn't fit into many lunch boxes, but because it is so sturdy, it can be put into a school or work bag on its own and the fruit is perfectly protected. I love that if I forgot to eat key banana, or didn't want it, it remains just as fresh and undamaged for the next day.

I like to send my son with fruit for his lunch or snack but hate getting the "Mom, it was all mush so I couldn't eat it" messages so I got this and have used it multiple times now and it's done its job every time. It is kind of big but I get it, some bananas are big! Considering I normally buy small to medium sized ones the container is bigger than it needs to be but that's fine - it does its job and protects that soft banana in my teen's backpack that takes beating and provides him with a non-mushed fruit later in the day. This is one happy mom! :)

I purchased both the Tupperware and the BananaGuard to keep our bananas bruise free during transit and we much prefer the Tupperware version for several reasons.The biggest complaint I see about the Tupperware is the size. Granted it looks big, but in reality it does not take up any more space than the BananaGuard, but the thicker mid-section of the Tupperware allows for more variety of bananas to be protected. All the bananas we purchased over the past week have fit into both, but the ones we have this morning ONLY fit in the Tupperware version.The other bonus for the Tupperware is that my 7 year old daughter finds it much easier to open at lunch at school (yes it fits into her lunch bag). She asks me to not use the BananaGuard as she finds it more difficult to open.The third reasons I like the Tupperware version is the hinge. They have a 2 piece hinge while the BananaGuard just uses one big mold for both sides and the hinge, using the fact that the plastic bends where the plastic is thin. I do not see that design lasting as long. Tupperware uses two different molds and the two sides snap together at the hinge.For both, I tend to cut off the top of the stem for a better fit.

The quality is very good...never doubted Tupperware’s quality...very sturdy...but ya like other reviewers said the size is very big...and I was prepared for it...so if u r ok with d size then I think this is the best banana box...it won’t break as it can b easily detached from the hinges due to its locking system...all my other boxes broke from the hinges coz they were sealed...very satisfied...

A very sturdy product. However, it is a bit difficult for young children to open. Hopefully, with a bit of use, the fastener will become a bit easier to open.

It was very big. Quality was good.

While the build quality is good, it is TOO big. Totally impractical. One might as well use a plastic container! Have returned it.
