Difficult to Fit for a DIY job.
I wanted a like for like valve for a quick fix to sort out the shower so got one of these rather than a cheaper external bar type I prefer (and have fitted before). My main issue was that the spindle isn't long enough to allow you to mount the valve behind the tiles, I needed to cut the tiles and build up a framework to mount it with the front of the valve body a few mm proud of the tiles so I could get the cover and handle on with the cover sealed to the tile. I had all sorts of fun and games. I'd sourced carefully and measured everything. I don't like this style and wish I'd ripped everything out and started again. It is in, works and looks OK, but I won't be going there again.

Quality an issue - cartridge needs replaced every year as the seal wears out
Was great but it's 6 months old and it is failing as it won't turn off. Permanent drip. Poor quality. we fitted 3 of these unfortunately and have to replace the cartridge every year which is almost as much as a new shower.The stopper seal just wears away in the cartridge and its not replaceable. The Bristan helpdesk says to soak in vinegar water for 4 hours but it makes little difference to rubber. The brass cleans but its the rubber seal that decays quickly.Strongly urge you not to buy.
