XPETIMen's Waterproof Hiking Boots

Bought these boots not knowing how good they would be.Used them1st on ireland highest mounting,Climbing through stream, muddy marsh and on rocket inclines.Very comfortable and 100% waterproof- very surprisedAndHappy toRecommend .

These boots are amazing. However the inside back of one of the boot has split and I've only really worn them for dog walking. I even use a shoe horn to get them on and off yet the material has still split. started wearing them in December so not even 6 months old :-(. I'm gonna see if I can get them repaired but not holding out much hope.. This is such a shame as they are the comfiest boots I've ever owned18/4 - wow wow wow. The supplier contacted me after my review. They replaced my boots immediately and for no cost. What can you say, this is customer service at its best. A big thank you to the them and I will definitely be purchasing again when these wear out.

Brought these based on reviews and descriptions of waterproof and warm as my other boots had no grip leftObviously not winter yet but first impression is well made and light with alot of cushioning in the soleFor the price it's looks looking good a went up a whole size to a 13 and fits wellWill update once the cold wet weather comes when taking the dog out

I always buy walking boots for taking the dogs out. Over the past few years I am averaging probably a pair of boots every 9 months or so. I've tried the more expensive ones (£150+) and also the cheap end of the market (£30 or less). Previous boots have not lived up to their waterproof claims, have split or just fallen apart!! £30 every 9 months is not so bad as they are worn in all conditions and all types of terrain for about 4-5 miles every day, but more often than not the waterproofing is poor and it is no fun walking with cold wet feet.Trialling something different from an unknown brand I went for these after reading a couple of other reviews. I've also left it 4 months since my purchase to give greater perspective from my point of view.Although not the lightest of boots and on my first couple of times wearing them they did feel very stiff and unforgiving they have soon softened and I'm more used to the weight now.They have remained warm and waterproof, myself and the dogs have been on muddy walks through fields and woods, I've cleaned them in puddles and walked through ankle deep snow with not a drop of moisture on my socks. They clean up easily, have good grip and are very comfortable with the cushioned footbed. I'd happily buy another pair tomorrow but I can see these outlasting any of my previous purchases

Do not buy these boots. Within three days that had leaked water in. Had a snotty email from amazon for returning them in in inappropriate condition.Well don't sell boots at £71.99 that are described as 'waterproof' and break within 3 days.

Boots arrived well boxed and looking good…..then I wore them….. 2.5 walk in soft muddy field and I feel as if someone hammered nails into every one of my toes and left another nail in the outside of my left foot … I thought I had lost any entitlement to a refund after the state they were in when I returned from the walk and the fact I’d thrown them in the bin! However after writing a scathing review XPETI got in touch asking what had happened, I told them the whole story including injuries and I received a full refund immediately with a promise to query the factory regarding the quality of manufacture. After reading other reviews it looks like I somehow got a rogue pair as everyone else seems to be very happy with their purchases so I have decided to order another pair. XPETI’s after sales dept is spot on and would certainly recommend getting in touch with them if there are further issues, new boots still to arrive.

I have worn them half a dozen times on some beautiful hikes in the UK. They are really comfortable and ideal for mucky walks, they feel sturdy and well made. However I recently went on a hike and went to wash the mud off my boots and water seeped in through the seam and completely drenched my feet. I had noticed the material near the heel has also split. Real shame as these boots are soo good otherwise.

Bought for an upcoming trip outside the country. These are actually better than I expected for quality and are extremely comfortable and warm. Glad I went a half size bigger as these will work great with thicker socks
