LIT (with CourseMate Printed Access Card) 1st Edition

Have found that Amazon has the best price on text books, new or used, far lower than the local College book store. They arrive with in the week and are in good shape. Returning them is easy too with the reminders from Amazon at end of semester and on line return labels, just try and remember to keep the box they came in.One caution though, it you are needing a study guide or on line materials that come with new books and have an access codes to use those materials, be advised that once the access code is used once (with the new text book) it can not be used again with the then used text book. Amazon was not real clear on this when we started ordering used text books, best to also order and pay for a new user guide & access code if you will need it with the used text book. Need also to consider ordering new text book with usable access code depending on what may be least expensive.

This book was received in an acceptable, but slightly worn condition when it was promised to be New in shrink wrap. I did not make use of the apparent access card, so I do not know if it worked or not.

This was a required text for an Intro to Lit course I took. Good text--definitely a keeper for further reading and reference. Very informative and explanatory. Good stories and poems that are used as examples and further reading. There are approximately 200 literary terms defined throughout. It's over and inch thick and a big heavy but well worth it.

I had to have this book for a college class I'm taking, and I've found it to be really good. I like the literary works in it. We had to skip around the chapters, but in doing this, it's been easy to understand.

My school was selling this for I believe almost $200! I got it cheap here, the book was used and it was obvious, but who cares! it was whole and save me some bucks. I also get to keep it and I like it because it has a lot of really neat short stories and poems.

Needed it for a class. It was nice that it was a cheap textbook. It fulfilled my need and was easy on my wallet.

Book questions are simple and to the point. A lot of the stories are a Google search away and the author rarely adds anything to separate it from simply doing that instead but its pretty straightforward in terms of a Lit book for school.
