The instructions book is missing pages 5-8. And those are the pages you need if youve never steamed before. But its really easy to steam any thing. Just fill the reservoir with water and ste the timer to what you want. I usually steam eggs about 2 minutes, no wait8ng for water to biol and then waiting till they are done. Steaming leaves the yolk a pretty bright yellow. Percect for salads or deviled eggs. The price was right as well. It works great for veggies or anything really. When not in use you can stack it into a small size for storage.
