Golden Island Thai Basil Turkey Jerky, 3 oz

This is by far the best pork jerky I’ve ever had! Actually the best jerky period!! It’s very hard to find in stores. I was getting it at my local Target, but sadly they stopped carrying it in store & online. I was getting it as a monthly subscription on Amazon, but was just notified that it is currently out of stock (in all forms) so I have a feeling that Amazon might not be supplying them anymore either. Which makes me extremely sad. Seems like every time I fall in love with a product, they stop making them or the stores aren’t stocking them anymore. But I highly recommend this item!!

I've been ordering (addicted) this specific jerky for the last few months and I simply cannot express how good it is.You get a variety of chewy and soft pieces with this (I like the soft the best) and the taste is outstanding. That comes from a jerky addict that has tried, especially during Covid, at least 20 brands of jerky.The thing that really keeps me coming back, besides the flavor, is the fact that a lot of those OTHER brands have Nitrites and Nitrates, which give me a huge migraine. This does not have that.

it was VERY hot, should have gotten a clue from the peppers on the package, I've never had Kung Pao before so didn't realize it was that hot. Not taking off stars for that, just letting people know. Now while it was hot, it was also very tasty, sometimes you get hot/spicy food and it's all about the heat but lacks flavor, even tho this was quite hot on the spicy scale, it was also very tasty and flavorful as well. The only reason I took stars off was because the pieces were very small and the bottom of the bag was nothing but crumbs of meat and spices. I want jerky that i can gnaw on, not little bits that get stuck in my teeth. Not sure if this is due to excessive handling at the warehouse level or not but honestly a good 1/3 of the product was crumbs, so not happy about that at all. The pieces that were large enough to get a good bite out of were tender without being mushy and very tasty if you can handle the heat. Again the heat is a personal preference and I did not take any stars off for that ;)

The tender pieces were some of the best beef jerky I've ever had. Both the flavor and the texture were amazing. Unfortunately, a significant portion was very gristly and I had to gnaw on those pieces to get what I could off of them. Hopefully they work on quality control or get a different source of meat in the future but leave the recipe alone.

This is my all time favorite jerky. I love that it’s gluten free (because so many are not)! The jerky has a medium texture rather than shoe leather hard (which I don’t prefer). The flavor is just a bit on the sweeter side but that’s one thing I love about this. Next I’ll buy the lime / chipotle (I think that’s it) flavor.

I got this for my husband because he is Korean. He absolutely loves it. It's his favorite jerky. It has a very sweet Korean BBQ smell and tastes amazing.

Sometimes Beef Jerky can be so dry and petrified.The perkiness with the Lime in this Jerky makes it a great change in pace.Very tasty and hard to stop.Expensive at almost $30 per pound... Wish Amazon would sell bigger bags of this stuff at better price.There is a brand called Perky Jerky sold at whole foods but they have NO PERKY flavors... dumb.

If they asked me what I wanted for Christmas I would say a lifetime supply of Korean BBQ pork BBQ jerky it's the best jerky I've ever had in my life me and my kids love it
