Ideal for matchstick modelling
Very sharp and could use this to cut anything. I use this to cut my matchsticks up for my model as you can change the blades

I was able to cut a shower door seal strip while on the door
I only used once for cutting a hard plastic shower door seal strip and it did the job. It is though difficult to open it as the security button is not working quite well, hence I gave it a 4 star. I need to test it on other tasks as well before I gave it a 5 star. Currently it stands between 4 and 5.

Cutters for wood, card etc.
I saw these being used by one of the members of my Dollshouse club, and bought myself a pair as they are brilliant for difficult trimming of small wood or card items.

Can't cut wide things
I bought these to trim some 5cm PVC blinds. They could only make a slight dent in them, and if I squeezed any harder I would have broke the handles. The blade is apparently 6cm in length but 5cm is too much for it. I tried with a 2cm piece and it managed to cut that one, just about. In the end I used them just to make a dent in each blind as a guide for a stanley knife which did the actual cutting.

Fantastic
Fantastic rope cutter. I use it for 8,10 and 12mm. Tape rope or burn it before cutting you get better cut.

Lead came cutter
Brought this to ease the cutting of lead came which is used in stained glass making. This is ergonomically easy to use, cuts through lead like a butter knife and is extremely easy to hold. Cutting needs little pressure. Plus a spare blade. The body of the cutter is also robust and not flimsy. So far so good, and very pleased with the purchase, I'd fully recommend it. Plus good value for money.

Not fit for purpose
So disappointed in these. Saw others had bought to trim blinds and were ‘Amazons choice’ so thought I’d give them a go. I’m sorry to say they wouldn’t even cut thin cardboard never mind metal blind. However complained to Amazon and was refunded. Bought a proper blind cutter for £5 in the and they were brilliant. Not sure what use these would be for any diy project.
