Does it stain and is it washable?

No, this did not stain the fabric. It is washable. I used it to shorten/hem 2 pair of pajama pants instead of sewing them. The glue itself was on the thick side. At first it was difficult to get the glue to come out. I feel I might have been sent an older product.

when it dries it it more like rubber, leather or canvas?

It is ever so slighty stiff, but worth it. It's not really rubbery, leathery or canvas.

Would I be able to use this to add a patch to a stuffed animal's face?

Yes, the glue dries clear and is permanent.

What does uncarded mean?

The tube of glue comes shrink wrapped in plastic. Uncarded means it is not packaged on a piece of printed cardboard with a plastic cover glued to the cardboard to hold the tube of glue in place. Let me know if you are confused.
